หน้าที่ของผู้ประกอบธุรกิจโรงแรมและผู้จัดการ
เพื่อให้การประกอบธุรกิจโรงแรมมีมาตรฐาน และเป็นการส่งเสริมและกำกับธุรกิจโรงแรม จึงกำหนดหน้าที่ของผู้ประกอบธุรกิจโรงแรมและผู้จัดการไว้ ดังนี้ (มาตรา ๓๔)
(๑) จัดให้มีป้ายชื่อโรงแรมตามมาตรา ๒๐ ติดไว้หน้าโรงแรม ป้ายชื่อโรงแรมต้องระบุคำว่า “โรงแรม” ไว้หน้าชื่อโรงแรมด้วย ๑๙
(๒) จัดให้มีการแสดงใบอนุญาตไว้ในที่เปิดเผยเห็นได้ง่ายในโรงแรม
(๓) จัดให้มีเลขที่ประจำห้องพักติดไว้ที่หน้าห้องพักทุกห้อง หมายเลขห้องพักนั้น ต้องเป็นตัวเลขอารบิค และห้ามกำหนดให้ซ้ำกัน ๒๐
(๔) จัดให้มีเอกสารแสดงอัตราค่าที่พักไว้ในที่เปิดเผยเห็นได้ง่ายในโรงแรม
(๕) จัดให้มีแผนผังแสดงทางหนีไฟไว้ในแต่ละชั้นของโรงแรมและห้องพักทุกห้อง และป้ายทางออกฉุกเฉินไว้ในแต่ละชั้นของโรงแรม
(๖) จัดให้มีเอกสารแสดงข้อจำกัดความรับผิดตามที่มาตรา ๖๗๕ แห่งประมวลกฎหมายแพ่งและพาณิชย์บัญญัติตามแบบที่คณะกรรมการประกาศกำหนด ๒๑ ไว้ในโรงแรมและห้องพักทุกห้อง
(๗) ดูแลรักษาความสะอาดด้านสุขลักษณะและอนามัยของโรงแรมให้เป็นไปตามกฎหมายว่าด้วยการสาธารณสุขและคำสั่งของเจ้าพนักงานท้องถิ่นหรือเจ้าพนักงานสาธารณสุข
(๘) ดูแลรักษาสภาพของโรงแรมให้มีความมั่นคงแข็งแรง และระบบการป้องกันอัคคีภัยให้เป็นไปตามกฎหมายว่าด้วยการควบคุมอาคารและคำสั่งของเจ้าพนักงานท้องถิ่น
(๙) ดูแลรักษาคุณภาพสิ่งแวดล้อมให้เป็นไปตามกฎหมายว่าด้วยการส่งเสริมและรักษาคุณภาพสิ่งแวดล้อมแห่งชาติ
(๑๐) ดูแลและอำนวยความสะดวกให้กับผู้พักในกรณีเกิดอัคคีภัย อุทกภัย หรือเกิดอันตรายใดๆ ขึ้นในโรงแรม
