ผู้ที่ประสงค์จะนำรถไปใช้รับส่งนักเรียนมีเงื่อนไขและวิธีการดังนี้

๑. ยื่นคำขอตามแบบที่กรมการขนส่งทางบกกำหนด ณ ที่ทำการของนายทะเบียนที่รถนั้นอยู่ในเขตความรับผิดชอบ

(๒) ไฟสัญญาณสีเหลืองอำพันหรือสีแดงปิดเปิดเป็นระยะติดไว้ที่ด้านหน้าและ ด้านท้ายของตัวรถ

๖. ต้องจัดให้มีผู้ควบคุมดูแลนักเรียน ซึ่งมีอายุไม่ต่ำกว่า ๑๘ ปี ประจำอยู่ในรถตลอดเวลาที่ใช้รับส่งนักเรียน

๙. นายทะเบียนมีอำนาจออกหนังสืออนุญาตให้ใช้รถในการรับ-ส่งนักเรียนในเขตจังหวัดที่จดทะเบียนไว้ เว้นแต่กรณีผู้ขออนุญาตมีความจำเป็นต้องใช้รถรับ - ส่งนักเรียนไปยังเขตจังหวัดอื่นที่มีพื้นที่ติดต่อกันเท่านั้น

๑๐. ผู้ได้รับอนุญาตให้ใช้รถรับส่งนักเรียนฝ่าฝืนหรือไม่ปฏิบัติตามเงื่อนไขที่กำหนด จะถูกยกเลิกการขออนุญาตจากนายทะเบียน
