โครงการ “SCG Do It Green” เป็นโครงการเพื่อสิ่งแวดล้อมของเครือซิเมนต์ไทย ที่มุ่งย้ำเตือนจิตสำนึกด้านการอนุรักษ์สิ่งแวดล้อมให้กับพนักงานในเครือฯ โดยยึดหลัก 3R ได้แก่ ลดการใช้ทรัพยากร (Reduce) การใช้ทรัพยากรหมุนเวียนให้เกิดประโยชน์สูงสุด (Reuse/Recycle) และการฟื้นฟูสิ่งแวดล้อมให้มีใช้เพียงพอและคงอยู่อย่างยั่งยืน (Replenish) โครงการนี้ยังมีเป้าหมายใหญ่อยู่ที่การสร้างฝายชะลอน้ำ 10,000 ฝาย ภายในปี 2552 เพื่อฟื้นฟูธรรมชาติกลับคืนสู่สมดุลด้วย ปัจจุบัน SCG ร่วมกับชุมชนสร้างฝายชะลอน้ำได้ครบ 10,000 ฝายในจังหวัดต่างๆ พร้อมทั้งส่งมอบสมุดบอกตำแหน่งหรือพิกัดฝายชะลอน้ำให้ ดร.สุเมธ ตันติเวชกุล เลขาธิการมูลนิธิชัยพัฒนา เพื่อนำทูลเกล้าฯ ถวายพระบาทสมเด็จพระเจ้าอยู่หัวต่อไป
