จากวันพฤหัสบดีที่ผ่านมาทางมหาวิทยาลัยราชภัฏสุราษฎร์ธานีได้มีการจัดงานที่มีชื่อว่า “เปิดประตู SRU สู่อาเซียน” ในงานมีการจัดกิจกรรมที่น่าสนใจหลายอย่างทั้งจัดซุ้มอาเซียนที่ให้ความรู้ต่างๆเกี่ยวกับประเทศอาเซียน และยังมีการแสดงที่น่าสนใจอีกด้วย ทั้งนี้ในงานก็ยังมีการเสวนาเกี่ยวกับการเดินทางไปต่างประเทศสำหรับนักศึกษาที่ได้ทุนเดินทางไปต่างประเทศอาเซียน ได้แก่ประเทศเวียดนาม สิงคโปร์ มาเลเซีย และประเทศเกาหลีใต้ จากประสบการณ์ที่พี่ๆได้เล่าให้ฟัง ดิฉันมีความสนใจในประเทศเกาหลีใต้มากเลยคะ ชอบและสนุกกับประสบการณ์ดีๆที่พี่ๆเค้าแบ่งปันให้ฟัง มีทั้งเรื่องตลกบ้าง เศร้าบ้าง แต่ก็เป็นการเดินทางที่มีความสุข ฉันชอบประโยคหนึ่งที่พี่เค้าพูดมาว่า ไม่มีอาหารอะไรที่อร่อยเท่ากับอาหารของเราแล้ว อาหารไทยอร่อยที่สุด พอได้ฟังแล้วรู้สึกประทับใจ และยังมีเหตุการณ์หนึ่งอีกคือ พี่ๆที่เดินทางไปเกาหลีบางคนนับถือศาสนาอิสลาม การแต่งกายของพี่เข้าก็เลยต้องมีผ้าคลุมซึ่งแน่นอนว่าที่ประเทศเกาหลีเขาไม่มีแบบนี้แน่นอนแต่มีป้าคนหนึ่งเดินเข้ามาหาแล้วก็ถามกับพี่ๆเขาว่า หนูๆ หนูมาจากไหนกัน น่ารักจังเลย พี่ๆก็ตอบไปว่า หนูมาจากประเทศไทยคะ เพราะเอกลักษณ์การแต่งตัวที่ไม่เหมือนใครจึงทำให้ได้ใจชาวเกาหลีมาเต็มๆ
