วัดอุทัยวราราม : สังกัดวัดมหานิกาย
คำขวัญ“ ร่มโพธิ์ทองของประชา ศาสนาพัฒนาชุมชน”
พระครุกิจจาทร เจ้าอาวาสรูปปัจจุบัน
ก่อตั้งเมื่อ พุทธศักราช ๒๔๕๓ โดยมีนาย สีสุมาน พิมพ์ดี พร้อมด้วยชาวบ้านกุดพังเครือได้ร่วมใจกัน จากความสามัคคีของชาวบ้านในชุมชน ร่วมกันจัดตั้งวัดขึ้น จากที่ดิน ที่เป็นพื้นที่ สาธารณะประโยชน์ของหมู่บ้าน ครั้งแรกที่ก่อตั้งขึ้นได้ใช้ชื่อว่า วัดท่าขาม ตั้งอยู่ทางทิศตะวันตกเฉียงใต้ของหมู่บ้าน
เมื่อ พุทธศักราช ๒๔๙๗ ท่านหลวงพ่อ เพ็ง ยโสธรา จึงได้มาสร้างวัดในที่ใหม่ พากลุ่มชาวบ้านมาถางป่าที่ใหม่ ทางทิศใต้ขฃองหมู่บ้าน และได้เปลี่ยนชื่อเป็น “วัดอุทัยวราราม” ตั่งแต่บัดนั้นเป็นตันมา.

ที่ตั้งและอาณาเขต
วัดอุทัยวราราม ตั้งอยู่เลขที่ ๓๘ หมู่ที่ ๖ บ้านกุดพังเครือ ตำบลท่ากระเสริม อำเภอน้ำพอง จังหวัดขอนแก่น
มีพื้นที่ทั้งหมด ๒๕ ไร่ ๒ ตารางวา

ความสำคัญ

2. เป็นวัดที่ส่งเสริมด้านการพัฒนาชุมชน หมู่บ้าน และโรงเรียน ทางด้านคุณธรรม และจริยธรรม ที่แสดงถึงความเจริญทางจิตใจ ของเยาวชนและคนในท้องถิ่น
3. โบราณวัตถุต่างๆที่เก่าแก่ ที่ค้นพบและสะสมรวบรวมของชาวบ้านได้นำไปแสดงไว้ เป็นพิพิธภัณฑสถานย่อย ๆ ในการให้คนเที่ยวชม หรือมาค้นคว้าศึกษาหาความรู้ได้
