หากลองวิเคราะห์ปัญหาที่ทำ ให้เกิดน้ำท่วมในบ้านเราที่ประสบกันอยู่เกือบทุกปีมากบ้างน้อยบ้างดังที่ กล่าวมาพบว่าน่าจะมาจากปัจจัยหลัก 2 อย่าง คือ 1. ธรรมชาติ 2. มนุษย์ อันเป็นที่มาของสาเหตุต่างๆดังนี้ คือ
