การวิจัยในครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์ในการศึกษาปัจจัยที่มีความสัมพันธ์กับพฤติกรรมการบริโภคอาหารจานด่วนของนิสิตมหาวิทยาลัยพะเยา เป็นการศึกษาด้วยรูปแบบการวิจัยเชิงสำรวจ (Survey research) กลุ่มตัวอย่าง มีจำนวน 200 คน โดยวิธีการคัดเลือกแบบตามสะดวก ( Convenience Sampling) รวบรวม ข้อมูลการวิจัยด้วยแบบสอบถาม
