ความเป็นมา

นางจรรยา ปั้นดี และนางสมควร มณีสุริยา ได้ขอพระราชทานน้อมเกล้าฯ ถวายที่ดิน ตั้งอยู่ที่ ตำบลธงชัยเหนือ อำเภอปักธงชัย จังหวัดนครราชสีมา จำนวนเนื้อที่ 29 ไร่ 2 งาน 24 ตารางวา



พระราชดำริ

พระบาทสมเด็จพระเจ้าอยู่หัว ทรงพระกรุณาโปรดเกล้าฯ พระราชทานที่ดินดังกล่าว เพื่อจัดทำโครงการสาธิต “ทฤษฎีใหม่” (แบบบ้านนา) ขนาดเล็ก

- กิจกรรม 1 บริเวณพื้นที่สาธิต “ทฤษฎีใหม่”

ทำนาข้าว พื้นที่ 4.5 ไร่ ทำการปลูกข้าวพันธุ์ขาวดอกมะลิ 105 โดยการตกกล้าปักดำ ปักดำเมื่อวันที่ 21 กรกฎาคม 2553 คาดว่าเก็บเกี่ยวผลผลิตในเดือน ธันวาคม 2553 หลังเก็บเกี่ยวข้าวปลูกพืช หลังนาอายุสั้น เพื่อหมุนเวียนและบำรุงดิน เช่น ถั่วเขียว ถั่วลิสง และข้าวโพดหวานฝักสด

2. การวิจัยและพัฒนา ปรับพื้นที่บริเวณแปลงไม้ผลเดิม พื้นที่ 4 ไร่ เพื่อเปลี่ยนเป็นพื้นที่นาข้าวตามความเหมาะสมของสภาพพื้นที่ โดยปลูกข้าวขาวดอกมะลิ 105 ด้วยวิธีการหว่าน 18.75 กิโลกรัมต่อไร่ หลังเมล็ดงอก 10 วัน ฉีดพ่นฮอร์โมน ในอัตรา 10 ซีซี./น้ำ 20 ลิตร

3. การขยายผล พัฒนาเป็นแหล่งฝึกอบรมและแปรรูปผลผลิตในโครงการ พื้นที่ 7 ไร่ โดยในปี 2553 มีผู้เข้าศึกษาดูงาน 8 คณะ จำนวนรวม 151 คน



การดำเนินงานในระยะต่อไป

จะทำการศึกษาทดลอง เพื่อหาข้อเปรียบเทียบผลดี ผลเสีย และจำนวนผลผลิตของการทำนาดำและนาหว่านในพื้นที่โครงการ ด้านพืชผัก จะเน้นการปลูกพืชผักพื้นบ้าน เช่น ผักติ้ว ผักเม็ก ใบบัวบก ฯลฯ ซึ่งจะช่วยให้มีผลผลิตและรายได้เร็วกว่าปลูกพืชชนิดอื่น ด้านการประมง จะนำปลากินพืชมาปล่อยเพิ่มเติมทั้งในสระเดิมและบ่อใหม่ เช่น ปลาตะเพียน สวาย ยี่สกเทศ นวลจันทร์เทศ และขยายพันธุ์กบในบ่อดินควบคู่ไปด้วย ด้านการประชาสัมพันธ์ จะเชิญวิทยากรจากกรมข้าว กรมส่งเสริมการเกษตร รวมทั้งปราชญ์ชาวบ้านมาแลกเปลี่ยนข้อคิดเห็นต่าง ๆ
