การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษา 1. รูปแบบความสำเร็จด้านการดำเนินธุรกิจโรงแรมและที่พักสีเขียวของไม้แก้วดำเนิน รีสอร์ท 2. กลยุทธ์ในการจัดการและแนวทางการพัฒนาโรงแรมและที่พักให้ไปสู่โรงแรม 3. แนวทางในการดำเนินธุรกิจโรงแรมและที่พักสีเขียว เป็นการวิจัยเชิงคุณภาพ (Qualitative Research) เพื่อพรรณนาและทำความเข้าใจเกี่ยวกับการดำเนินธุรกิจสีเขียว (Green Business) ของไม้แก้วดำเนิน รีสอร์ท โดยใช้วิธีการตรวจสอบข้อมูลแบบสามเส้า (Triangulation) สัมภาษณ์แบบเชิงลึก (In-Depth Interview) ผู้ให้ข้อมูลหลักเป็น ผู้จัดการ พนักงานที่เกี่ยวข้อง และผู้เข้าใช้บริการทั้งหมดจำนวน 8 คน เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัย ได้แก่ แนวคำถามในการสัมภาษณ์ การวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลด้วยการพรรณนาวิเคราะห์ (Descriptive Analysis) เพื่อนำมาเป็นพื้นฐานในการศึกษาวิจัย
