งานประเพณีแห่เทียนพรรษา เป็นประเพณีทางพุทธศาสนา ของชาวจัวหวัดอุบลราชธานี ซึ่งอยู่ทางภาคตะวันออกเฉียงเหนือของประเทศไทย ซึ่งมีความเจริญในพุทธศาสนา วัฒนธรรม และประเพณีมาเป็นเวลายาวนาน ถือเป็นงานบุญที่ยิ่งใหญ่ที่สุดของจังหวัดอุบลราชธานี โดยได้กำหนดจัดงานขึ้นในวันขึ้น 15 ค่ำเดือน 8 และแรม 1 ค่ำเดือน 8 หรือวันอาสาฬหบูชาและวันเข้าพรรษา จัดให้มีขึ้นทุกปี
ชาวอุบลราชธานี ได้ทำต้นเทียนประกวดประชันความวิจิตรบรรจงกัน ให้เป็นงานประเพณีที่ยิ่งใหญ่และมโหฬาร ซึ่งมีการประกวดต้นเทียน 2 ประเภท คือ ประเภทติดพิมพ์ และประเภทแกะสลัก
