ประเทศเอกวาดอร์ หรือ สาธารณรัฐเอกวาดอร์ เป็นประเทศเล็กๆประเทศหนึ่งในทวีปอเมริกาใต้ ตั้งอยู่ทางภาคตะวันตกเฉียงเหนือของทวีป โดยทางเหนือติดกับประเทศโคลอมเบีย ทางตะวันออกและใต้ติดกับประเทศเปรู และทางทิศตะวันตกเป็นชายฝั่งติดมหาสมุทรแปซิฟิก
Ecuador เป็นภาษาสเปน ตรงกับคำว่า Equator ในภาษาอังกฤษ แปลว่า เส้นศูนย์สูตร
ที่ได้รับการตั้งชื่อเช่นนี้เพราะประเทศเอกวาดอร์ตั้งอยู่บริเวณที่เส้นศูนย์สูตรพาดผ่าน และจากการที่ตั้งอยู่บริเวณเส้นศูนย์สูตรนี่เองทำให้ทั้งประเทศได้รับแสงแดดเต็มที่ตลอดปี
ถึงแม้ประเทศเอกวาดอร์จะเป็นประเทศขนาดเล็กแต่ก็รวบรวมแห่งมรดกโลกไว้หลายอย่างค่ะ ไม่ว่าจะเป็นเกาะกาลาปาโกสที่ชาร์ล ดาร์วิน นักธรรมชาติวิทยา ชาวอังกฤษ มาพบเจอจนเกิดเป็นทฤษฎีวิวัฒนาการขึ้น หรือจะเป็นนครกีโตที่เป็นเมืองหลวงของประเทศ และอีกมากมายหลายแห่งค่ะ
ทริปเที่ยวประเทศเอกวาดอร์นี้ดิฉันก็ไม่ได้ศึกษาอะไรมากมายหรอกค่ะ เพราะหาข้อมูลแทบไม่เจออะไรเลย แต่ถึงกระนั้นดิฉันก็ยังอยากจะไปค่ะ อยากไปสัมผัสบรรยากาศที่เกาะกาลาปาโกสดูสักครั้งหนึ่งในชีวิต
ถ้าหากถามว่าทริปนี้ควรมากับใคร ดิฉันก็คงตอบไม่ได้ค่ะ มันขึ้นอยู่กับแต่ละคนมากกว่า แต่ดิฉันเลือกเดินทางมากับเพื่อนๆของดิฉันค่ะ เพราะคิดว่ามาเที่ยวกับเพื่อนแบบนี้แล้วมันสนุกมากกว่าและได้ลุยมากกว่าค่ะ ตอนนี้ก็ถึงเวลาแล้ว เราไปดูสถานที่ท่องเที่ยวต่างๆในประเทศเอกวาดอร์กันเลยดีกว่าค่ะ
