บทคัดย่อ
เพลี้ยแป้งเป็นศัตรูพืชมีอยู่เป็นจำนวนมากในประเทศไทยและได้สร้างความเสียหายให้กับพืชผลของเกษตรกร ดังนั้นเกษตรกรส่วนใหญ่จึงต้องหันมาพึ่งยาฆ่าแมลง ซึ่งเต็มไปด้วยสารเคมีที่เป็นอันตรายต่อตัวเราและสิ่งแวดล้อม จากการที่กลุ่มของข้าพเจ้าได้ไปศึกษางานวิจัยและสอบถามภูมิปัญญาของชาวบ้านในชุมชน พบว่า ในกลอยมีสารสกัดชนิดหนึ่ง ที่มีฤทธิ์สามารถกำจัดเพลี้ยแป้งได้ จึงทำให้กลุ่มของข้าพเจ้ามีความสนใจที่จะจัดทำโครงงานเรื่อง “น้ำยากำจัดแมลงจากกลอย” ซึ่งกลุ่มของข้าพเจ้าจะเปรียบเทียบประสิทธิภาพการกำจัดเพลี้ยแป้งระหว่างกลอยที่นำไปอบแห้งและสารสกัดที่ได้จากกลอยแบบสด ซึ่งเพลี้ยแป้งที่นำมาทดสอบเป็นเพลี้ยที่อยู่ในอำเภอด่านช้าง จังหวัดสุพรรณบุรี และบริเวณหน้าหอ1 หลังจากที่ได้ทำการทดลองพบว่าสารสกัดที่ได้จากกลอยแบบสดมีประสิทธิภาพในการกำจัดเพลี้ยแป้งได้ดีกว่าชนิดแบบอบแห้ง เพราะว่าเครื่องอัลตราโซนิกซ์สามารถดึงสารสกัดที่อยู่ในกลอยออกมาได้มากกว่าการนำกลอยไปอบแห้ง ซึ่งเมื่อนำไปทดสอบกับเพลี้ยแป้งจึงทำให้มีประสิทธิภาพการกำจัดเพลี้ยได้ดีกว่า
