การจัดทำโครงงานในครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์ (1)เพื่อศึกษาสถิติการชมภาพยนตร์แต่ละประเภท
(2)เพื่อศึกษาว่าในวัยนักเรียนนิยมชมภาพยนตร์ประเภทไหนมากที่สุด (3)เพื่อศึกษาและรวบรวมข้อมูลในการนำเสนอหน้าชั้นเรียน
ผลจากการเก็บรวบรวมข้อมูลและสอบถาม พบว่า กลุ่มตัวอย่างมีความสนใจในการดูภาพยนตร์ประเภทสงครามมากที่สุด จำนวน 15 คน รองลงมาคือภาพยนตร์ประเภทไม่เหมาะกับผู้ที่มีอายุต่ำกว่า 18 ปี จำนวน 6 คน ภาพยนตร์ตลก จำนวน 5 คน ภาพยนตร์บู๊ จำนวน 5 คน ภาพยนตร์แนวรักโรแมนติก จำนวน 4 คน ภาพยนตร์อาชญากรรม จำนวน 3 คน ภาพยนตร์แนวลึกลับ จำนวน 3 คน ภาพยนตร์แนวสารคดี จำนวน 2 คน ภาพยนตร์แนวชีวิต จำนวน 2 คน ภาพยนตร์ที่เน้นการอ้างอิงทางวิทยาศาสตร์ จำนวน 2 คน ภาพยนตร์แนวผจญภัย จำนวน 1 คน ภาพยนตร์ผสมจินตนาการ จำนวน 1 คน และภาพยนตร์ไทยหลากหลายแบบ จำนวน 1 คน รวมทั้งสิ้น 50 คน
