วัดพระพุทธบาทราชวรมหาวิหาร ตั้งอยู่

วัดพระพุทธบาทราชวรมหาวิหาร ตั้งอยู่ที่ตำบลขุนโขลน ห่างจากตัวจังหวัดประมาณ 28 กิโลเมตร เป็นพระอารามหลวงชั้นเอก สร้างขึ้นเมื่อ ปี พ.ศ. 2167 ในรัชสมัยสมเด็จพระเจ้าทรงธรรม ปูชนียสถานที่สำคัญ คือ รอยพระพุทธบาท ที่ประทับไว้บนแผ่นหินเหนือไหล่เขาสุวรรณบรรพต หรือเขาสัจจพันธคีรี รอยพระบาทมีความกว้าง 21 นิ้ว ยาว 60 นิ้ว ลึก 11 นิ้ว ค้นพบในสมัยพระเจ้าทรงธรรม พระองค์ทรงเห็นว่าเป็นรอยพระบาทตามลักษณะ 108 ประการ จึงโปรดเกล้าฯ ให้สร้างมณฑปชั่วคราวครอบรอยพระพุทธบาทไว้ ต่อมาได้มีการสร้างต่อเติมกันอีกหลายสมัย และยังพบรอยจารึกพระปรมาภิไธยย่อ จปร. ที่ก้อนหินขนาดใหญ่ สูงจากพื้น 160 เซนติเมตร เมื่อครั้นเสด็จนมัสการรอยพระพุทธบาท ส่วนพระอุโบสถและพระวิหารต่าง ๆ ที่อยู่รายรอบ ล้วนสร้างตามแบบศิลปกรรมสมัยกรุงศรีอยุธยาและตอนต้นกรุงรัตนโกสินทร์
