บทคัดย่อ (Abstract)
ที่จอดรถถือว่าเป็นสิ่งจําเป็นพื้นฐานของระบบการขนส่ง ซึ่งรถทุกชนิดเมื่อสิ้นสุดการ เดินทางแล้วจําเป็นต้องมีสถานที่จอดรองรับในมหาวิทยาลัยศรีปทุมก็เช่นเดียวกันได้มีสถานที่จอด รถไว้รองรับบุคลากร นักศึกษา และผู้มาติดต่อ ด้วยเหตุนี้จึงได้มีการศึกษาสถานที่จอดรถภายใน มหาวิทยาลัยศรีปทุมโดยแบ่งการศึกษาออกเป็นสามด้านคือด้านกายภาพ ด้านการบริหารและด้าน ศักยภาพ พบว่าทางกายภาพพบปัญหาอยู่ 4 ปัญหาคือ ปัญหาการจอดรถซ้อนคัน,ปัญหานําของมา วางกีดขวางพื้นที่จอดรถ, ปัญหาป้ายและเส้นจราจรชํารุด และ ปัญหามุมเลี้ยวขึ้นทางลาดอาคารจอด รถตึก9 แคบเกินไปส่วนทางด้านการบริหารพบปัญหา4ปัญหาเช่นเดียวกันนั้นคือก็ ปัญหา ผู้ใช้งานไม่รู้ว่าที่จอดรถที่ไหนเหลือว่างอยู่บ้าง, ปัญหาแย้งกันจอดรถที่ลานจอดโดยที่บนอาคารมีที่ จอดเหลือ, ปัญหาผู้เข้ามาติดต่อระยะเวลาสั้นๆกลับต้องเสียเวลาในการหาที่จอดรถนาน, ปัญหาจอด ภายนอกอาคารกลับได้รับการดูแลดีกว่าจอดภายในอาคาร
ส่วนทางด้านศักยภาพพบว่ามหาลัยวิทยาลัยศรีปทุมสามารถรองรับรถได้สูงสุดที่ 7,123 คัน/ วัน ปัจจุบันมหาวิทยาลัยศรีปทุมยังมีศักยภาพในการรองรับรถได้อยู่ซึ่งในอนาคตหากจํานวน ประชากรและนักศึกษาเพิ่มขึ้นอาจทําให้ศักยภาพในการรองรับรถลดน้อยลง
