การศึกษาวิจัยเรื่อง การศึกษาปัจจัยที่มีผลต่อการใช้บริการบริเวณพื้นที่สวนหลวง ร. 9 ของประชาชน ในเขตอำเภอทุ่งสง มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อสำรวจปัจจัยที่มีผลต่อการใช้บริการของประชาชนบริเวณสวนหลวง ร. 9 เพื่อหาแนวทางในการพัฒนาสิ่งอำนวยความสะดวกให้แก่ประชาชนและเพื่อศึกษาความต้องการในการเลือกสถานที่ในการออกกำลังกายของประชาชนอำเภอทุ่งสง โดยทำการศึกษาในช่วงเวลา ตั้งแต่ 1 มิถุนายน ถึง 30 กันยายน 2556
การวิจัยนี้เป็นการศึกษาเชิงคุณภาพ โดยมีเครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการเก็บรวบรวมข้อมูลในที่นี้เป็นการเก็บรวบรวมข้อมูลโดยการตอบแบบสอบถามเกี่ยวกับเรื่องความพึงพอใจและปัจจัยในการใช้บริการบริเวณพื้นที่สวนหลวง ร. 9 โดยมีการแบ่งแบบสอบถามเป็น 3 ตอนคือ ตอนที่ 1 เป็นเรื่องที่เกี่ยวกับข้อมูลทั่วไปของผู้ที่ตอบแบบสอบถาม ตอนที่ 2 เป็นการแสดงความคิดเห็นเกี่ยวกับระดับความพึงพอใจและปัจจัยในการใช้บริการ ตอนที่ 3 เป็นการตอบแบบสอบถามโดยให้แสดงความคิดเห็นและข้อเสนอแนะอื่นๆ ในลักษณะแบบปลายเปิด (open end)
ผลการศึกษาทำให้ผู้วิจัยรู้ถึงปัจจัยที่มีผลต่อการมาใช้บริการของประชาชนและผลของการศึกษางานวิจัยเล่มนี้ยังสามารถนำไปเป็นแนวทางในการพัฒนาสิ่งอำนวยความสะดวกในสถานที่สวนหลวง ร.9 เพื่อให้ตรงตามความต้องการของประชาชนที่มาใช้บริการว่าประชาชนต้องการสถานที่แบบไดในการมาออกกำลังกาย
ผลจากการตอบแบบสอบถามยังทำให้ผู้วิจัยทราบความแตกต่างของปัจจัยการมาใช้บริการในหลายๆส่วนดังนี้ 1) เพศ ทำให้ทราบความแตกต่างในการมาใช้บริการเพราะส่วนใหญ่จะเป็นเพศหญิงมากกว่าเพศชาย 2) สถานภาพของผู้ที่มาใช้ริการส่วนมากจะอยู่ในสถานภาพโสดมากว่าสถานภาพสมรสแล้ว 3) ระดับการศึกษายังเป็นส่วนที่ทำให้ตระหนักถึงประโยชน์และโทษของการมาใช้บริการเพราะส่วนใหญ่ระดับการศึกษาอยู่ที่ระดับปริญญาตรี 4) อาชีพก็มีผลต่อทัศนะคติของการมาใช้บริการเช่นกันเพราะส่วนมากจะเป็นนักเรียน/นิสิต/นักศึกษาที่ให้ความสนใจในการมาออกกำลังกายและการมาเดินเล่นมากกว่า 5) รายได้ก็มีผลต่อค่านิยมในการมาใช้บริการเช่นกันเพราะส่วนใหญ่รายได้จะอยู่ที่ต่ำกว่า 10,000 บาทต่อเดือนซึ่งในการมาใช้บริการประชาชนไม่จำเป็นต้องเสียค่าใช้จ่ายใดๆเลยในการมาใช้บริการ
