ศศิภา ไชยวงศ์ (2553 : บทคัดย่อ) ศึกษาเรื่องการใช้การสอนแบบชักชวนร่วมกับกิจกรรมบทบาทสมมติเพื่อเพิ่มพูนการฟัง พูดภาษาอังกฤษ เพื่อการสื่อสารและลดความวิตกกังวลของนักศึกษาในชมรมมัคคุเทศก์น้อยผลการวิจัยพบว่า
1) นักเรียนที่ได้รับการสอนแบบชักชวนร่วมกับกิจกรรมบทบาทสมมติมีความสามารถทางการฟังพูดภาษาอังกฤษเพื่อการสื่อสารผ่านเกณฑ์ร้อยละ 60 อยู่ในระดับดี และมีความสามารถการฟัง พูดภาษาอังกฤษเพื่อการสื่อสารเพิ่มขึ้นหลังการทดลอง
2) นักเรียนในที่ได้รับการสอนแบบชักชวนร่วมกับกิจกรรมบทบาทสมมติ มีระดับความวิตกกังวลลดลงหลังการทดลอง
