ผมออกเดินทางจากกรุงเทพ โดยใช้บริการของสมบัติทัวร์ กรุงเทพ-แพร่ เช้าวันศุกร์ ที่ 7 พ.ย. 57 เวลา 8.30 น.
ใช้เวลาเดินทางประมาณ 7 ชั่วโมง ก็ถึงเมืองแพร่ ส่วนที่พักสำหรับทริปนี้ คือ เฮือนวังหงส์ บ้านเกิดเรือนนอนของผมเอง (ยินดีต้อนรับทุกท่าน ที่ชื่นชอบพักแบบโฮมสเตย์นะครับ)

หลังจากเหน็ดเหนื่อยกับการเดินทาง ผมต้องขอนอนพักให้หายคิดถึงบ้านก่อนนะครับ เช้าวันเสาร์จะต้องตื่นตี 5 เพื่อไปนั่งชมพระอาทิตย์ขึ้น สัมผัสอากาศหนาว ณ จุดชมวิวพระธาตุดอยเล็ง ซึ่งตั้งอยู่ไม่ไกลจากพระธาตุช่อแฮมากนัก

ถึงแม้ผมจะเป็นคนแพร่ ต้องบอกก่อนเลยว่ายังไม่เคยขึ้นไปบนพระธาตุดอยเล็งสักที ครั้งนี้จึงถือโอกาสลาพักร้อนมาเที่ยวแพร่ ไม่แคร์หนาวกับเขาบ้าง ผู้ร่วมเดินทางไปกับทริปนี้ก็ไม่ใช่ใครที่ไหน หลานๆ ของผมเอง นานๆกลับบ้านทีชวนกันตื่นตี 5 บิดมอเตอร์ไซต์จาก เฮือนวังหงส์ มุ่งสู่จุดหมายปลายทาง ประมาณ 24 กิโลเมตร ใช้เวลาเดินทาง 45 นาที พระธาตุดอยเล็งตั้งอยู่บนภูเขาสูง ทางขึ้นลาดชัน กว่าจะขึ้นมาถึงบนพระธาตุก็หวาดเสียวพอสมควร เมื่อขึ้นมาถึงด้านบนต้องบอกเลยว่าสุดยอดมาก เบื้องหลังมองเห็นวิวภูเขาสวยๆ นั่งชมพระอาทิตย์ขึ้นจากยอดดอย เบื้องหน้าก็วิวเมืองแพร่ อากาศเย็นๆ ขอพักสูดอากาศบริสุทธิ์ยามเช้าให้เต็มปอดก่อนเดินชมความงามและเก็บภาพสวยๆมาฝาก
