ปัญหาการติดเกมของเด็กจะไม่เกิดขึ้นหากผู้ปกครองใส่ใจและให้เวลากับเด็กมากขึ้นรวมทั้งตัวของเด็กเองถ้าได้รับอบรมสั่งสอนในสิ่งที่ควรและไม่ควรแต่ก็ไม่ได้โทษผู้ปกครองทั้งหมด การที่จะแก้ไขปัญหานั้นควรจะมีการร่วมมือกันจากหลายฝ่าย แต่การเริ่มต้นจากที่ครอบครัวก่อนก็จะดีที่สุด ฉะนั้น ต้องช่วยกันเป็นกำลังใจให้เด็กลดละพฤติกรรมเดิมลงทีละเล็กละน้อย และหากิจกรรมที่เป็นประโยชน์อื่นๆ มาทดแทน แม้จะต้องใช้เวลาสักเพียงใดก็ตาม
