การศึกษาค้นคว้าครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาบทบาทของผู้บริหารสถานศึกษาในการส่งเสริมการวิจัยในชั้นเรียน โรงเรียนวัดมะสงมิตรภาพที่ 55 ตำบลทวีวัฒนา อำเภอไทรน้อย จังหวัดนนทบุรี
ประชากรที่ใช้ในการศึกษาค้นคว้า เป็นครูโรงเรียนวัดมะสงมิตรภาพที่ 55 ตำบลทวีวัฒนา อำเภอไทรน้อย จังหวัดนนทบุรี จำนวน 75 คน เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการเก็บรวบรวมข้อมูลเป็นแบบสอบถามแบบมาตราส่วนประมาณค่าที่มีค่า 5 ระดับ สถิติที่ใช้ในการวิเคราะห์ข้อมูล คือ ค่าเฉลี่ย ค่าส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน
ผลการวิจัย พบว่า บทบาทของผู้บริหารสถานศึกษาในการส่งเสริมการวิจัยในชั้นเรียน โรงเรียนวัดมะสงมิตรภาพที่ 55 ตำบลทวีวัฒนา อำเภอไทรน้อย จังหวัดนนทบุรี ใน 5 ด้าน โดยภาพรวมอยู่ในระดับมาก ด้านที่มีค่าเฉลี่ยสูงสุด คือ ด้านการจัดหาแหล่งเรียนรู้ในการวิจัยในชั้นเรียน รองลงมา คือ ด้านการส่งเสริมให้มีความรู้และทักษะในการวิจัยในชั้นเรียน และด้านการกำหนดนโยบายในการวิจัยในชั้นเรียน ด้านที่มีค่าเฉลี่ยต่ำที่สุด คือ ด้านการสนับสนุนงบประมาณและสิ่งอำนวยความสะดวกในการวิจัยในชั้นเรียน
