ภาควิชาวิทยาศาสตร์สิ่งแวดล้อม คณะวิทยาศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยศิลปากร และศูนย์พัฒนาความเป็นเลิศด้านมลพิษทางอากาศ กรมควบคุมมลพิษ ได้เห็นถึงประโยชน์ของเทคโนโลยี ภูมิสารสนเทศซึ่งจะมีบทบาทสำคัญต่อการจัดการคุณภาพอากาศของประเทศไทย จึงได้จัดให้มีการอบรมเชิงปฏิบัติการ “การประยุกต์ภูมิสารสนเทศเพื่อการจัดการคุณภาพอากาศ” โดยมีเป้าหมายเพื่อเปิดโอกาสให้ผู้เข้ารับการอบรมได้ศึกษา แลกเปลี่ยนประสบการณ์และความรู้ด้านเทคโนโลยี ภูมิสารสนเทศ และสามารถนำไปประยุกต์ใช้ในงานด้านการจัดการคุณภาพอากาศหรือด้านสิ่งแวดล้อมอื่นๆ ภายในองค์กรหรือระหว่างเครือข่ายองค์กรด้วยกันเองได้อย่างมีประสิทธิภาพ
วัตถุประสงค์
1. เพื่อให้ผู้เข้ารับการอบรมได้รับความรู้เกี่ยวกับ และเกิดทักษะการนำเทคโนโลยีภูมิสารสนเทศมาใช้เพื่อการจัดการคุณภาพอากาศ
2. เพื่อก่อให้เกิดความร่วมมือและการสนับสนุนการดำเนินงานทางวิชาการต่อกันในด้านเทคโนโลยี ภูมิสารสนเทศในการจัดการคุณภาพอากาศ รวมถึงการถ่ายทอดและแลกเปลี่ยนเทคโนโลยีที่ทันสมัยเพื่อการจัดการและสนับสนุนงานด้านสิ่งแวดล้อมอื่นๆ ต่อไป
