จากปัญหาอุปสรรคที่เกิดขึ้นส่วนใหญ่เป็นปัญหาที่เกี่ยวข้องกับทางภาครัฐทั้งของไทยและจีนหากร่วมกับปรับกฏหมายของทั้ง 2 ประเทศ ก็อาจจะส่งผลให้การค้าชายแดนมีมูลค่าเพิ่มสูงขึ้น เนื่องจากมีการดำเนินการที่สะดวกและรวดเร็วกว่าเส้นทางอื่นๆ ในการติดต่อซื้อขายกับประเทศจีนตอนใต้ ดังนั้นงานวิจัยชิ้นนี้จึงมีข้อเสนอแนะเพื่อแก้ไขและปรับปรุงด้านกฏหมาย ดังนี้
