ปัจจัยที่สัมพันธ์ คือ ผู้ป่วยมีอาการปวดบริเวณคอและหลัง (โดยจะมีอาการปวดที่ด้านขวามากกว่า) เคี้ยวอาหารข้างขวาข้างเดียว(เนื่องจากผู้ป่วยถอนฟันซี่ #36 ไปทำให้เคี้ยวอาหารด้านซ้ายไม่สะดวกจึงชอบเคี้ยวด้านขวาแม้จะมีอาการปวดฟัน) นอนกรน และนั่งผิดท่าโดยผู้ป่วยนั่งหน้าคอมนานกว่า 8 ชั่วโมงต่อวัน และมีการเดินทางไปออกพื้นที่ตามชนบทบ่อยโดยนั่งรถมากกว่า 6 ชั่วโมงและถนนหนทางที่ประเทศลาวไม่สะดวกนัก รวมถึงผู้ป่วยขับรถมารักษาเอง (2เดือน/1ครั้ง)ใช้เวลาขับรถมากกว่า 3 ชั่วโมง
