โครงการอัมพวาชัยพัฒนานุรักษ์เป็นโครงการของสมเด็จพระเทพพระรัตนราชสุดาสยามบรมราชกุมารี ซึ่งนางสาวประยงค์ นาคะวะรังค์น้อมเกล้าถวายที่ดินพร้อมสิ่งปลูกสร้างบนพื้นที่รวม 21 ไร่ 12 ตารางวา ในตำบลอัมพวา อำเภอ อัมพวา จังหวัดสมุทรสงคราม พระองค์จึงนำที่ดินดังกล่าวมาดำเนินการพัฒนาโดยก่อตั้งโครงการอัมพวาชัยพัฒนานุรักษ์ขึ้นเพื่อให้เกิดประโยชน์แก่ชุมชนอัมพวา โดยมุ่งเน้นด้านการอนุรักษ์วัฒนธรรมวิถีชีวิตชาวชุมชนอัมพวา เพื่อเป็นการอนุรักษ์วิถีชีวิตความเป็นอยู่รวมถึงสืบสานภูมิปัญญาและวัฒนธรรมท้องถิ่นของชาวชุมชนอัมพวา ช่วยสร้างรายได้ให้แก่ชุมชนส่งเสริมให้เกิดการพัฒนาแบบบูรณาการด้วยการสร้างโอกาสให้ชุมชน องค์กรท้องถิ่นเข้ามามีส่วนรวมในการบริหารจัดการพื้นที่เกิดการพึ่งพาตนเองตามแนวคิดระบบเศรษฐกิจพอเพียง
