บทคัดย่อ
การศึกษาโครงงาน เรื่อง การเปรียบเทียบประสิทธิภาพการอุ้มน้ำ และ ลักษณะการเปลี่ยนแปลงรูปทรงของ กระถางที่ใช้วัสดุในการผลิตที่ต่างกัน มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อ 1. ผลิตกระถางต้นไม้จาก ขุยมะพร้าวและฟางข้าว 2. เปรียบเทียบประสิทธิภาพการอุ้มน้ำ และลักษณะการเปลี่ยนแปลงรูปทรงระหว่างกระถางดอกไม้จากฟางข้าว กับ กระถางดอกไม้จากขุยมะพร้าว โดยการน าเอาฟางข้าวและขุยมะพร้าวมาสับให้ละเอียดแล้วนำมาผสมกับกาว นวดส่วนผสมให้เข้ากัน แล้วน มาเทลงในแบบกระถางทีเตรียมไว้ แล้วนำไปตากจนแห้ง จากนั้นนำไป ทดสอบประสิทธิภาพในการอุ้มน้ำและลักษณะการเปลี่ยนแปลงรูปทรง โดยใส่ดินลงไปในกระถางดอกไม้จากฟางข้าวและขุยมะพร้าว อย่างละ 300 กรัม แล้วเทน้ำลงไป จ้านวน 1,000 มิลลิลิตร ทิ้งไว้ 45 นาที พบว่ากระถางดอกไม้จากขุยมะพร้าวมีน าไหลออกมา 680 มิลลิลิตร และกระถางยังคงสภาพรูปทรงเหมือนเดิม ส่วนกระถางจากฟางข้าวมีน าไหลออกมา 870 มิลลิลิตร ซึ่งกระถางมีการเปลี่ยนแปลงรูปทรงไปจากเดิม
สรุปได้ว่า กระถางดอกไม้จากขุยมะพร้าวมีประสิทธิภาพในการอุ้มน้ำ และคงสภาพรูปทรงของกระถางได้
