บทคัดย่อ

สารนิพนธ์นี้มีวัตถุประสงค์ ๑) เพื่อศึกษาแนวคิดการเกิดในพระพุทธศาสนา ๒) เพื่อศึกษาปฏิสัมพันธ์ระหว่างโอปปาติกะกับชลาพุชะ จากการศึกษาพบว่า แนวคิดการเกิดในพระพุทธศาสนา คือ การเกิดใหม่ หรือการจุติจากภพหนึ่งไปอีกภพหนึ่ง โดยจำแนกได้แก่ อัณฑชะ กำเนิดในไข่ สังเสทชะ กำเนิดในสิ่งสกปรก ชลาพุชะ กำเนิดในครรภ์ โอปปาติกะ กำเนิดโต
ในพระพุทธศาสนาเถรวาท กล่าวถึงสัตว์ที่กำเนิดในโอปปาติกะมักจะมีปฏิสัมพันธ์กับชลาพุชะในลักษณะ ๓ ประการ คือ ๑) ปฏิสัมพันธ์ทางกาย ซึ่งมี ๒ แบบ คือ ๑.การอยู่ร่วมกันแบบสามีภรรยา เช่น ในภูริทัตชาดก ที่โอรสพระเจ้าพรหมทัตอยู่ร่วมกับนางนาคจนประสูติภูริทัต ซึ่งเป็นหนึ่งในทศชาติของพระพุทธเจ้า ๒.การแสดงความช่วยเหลือ การที่โอปปาติกะจะช่วยเหลือมนุษย์ มนุษย์จะต้องช่วยเหลือตนเองก่อน เช่น ในมหาชนกชาดก ที่นางเทพธิดาได้ช่วย มหาชนก เพราะเห็นถึงความตั้งใจจริงในการสมาทานศีลอุโบสถและมุ่งมั่นในการวายน้ำ ๒) ปฏิสัมพันธ์ทางวาจา มี ๓ แบบ คือ ๑. เพื่อถามปัญหา การถามปัญหาจะเป็นแบบไมตรีจิตต่อกัน คือ อยากรู้จริง ๆ ปัญหาบางอย่างลึกซึ้งมาก เช่น เรื่องพระนิพพาน ปัญหาบางอย่างเป็นธรรมะเพื่อนำไปปฏิบัติในชีวิตประจำวัน ๒.เพื่อเตือนสติ เตือนด้วยความหวังดี ไม่ให้หลงผิด เช่น เทวดาเตือนพ่อค้าว่าการที่ค้าขายร่ำรวย ไม่ได้เกิดจากการช่วยเหลือของเทวดา แต่เกิดจากความสามรถของพ่อค้าเอง๓. เพื่อบอกเจตนา ที่แสดงถึงความรัก ความเอ็นดูในตัวมนุษย์ ๓) ปฏิสัมพันธ์ทางใจมี ๓ แบบ ได้แก่ ๑.การแสดงอิทธิฤทธิ์ ซึ่งส่วนใหญ่จะเริ่มจากฝ่ายโอปปาติกะก่อน เพราะคิดว่าตนมีอำนาจมาก แต่เมื่อประลองฤทธิ์กับพระภิกษุในพระพุทธศาสนาแล้วก็มักจะพ่ายแพ้และหันมายอมรับถือพระรัตนตรัย ๒.การแสดงเจตนาร้าย โปปาติกะประเภทมาร จะแสดงความไม่พอใจพระพุทธเจ้าและพระอริยะสาวกอยู่เสมอๆ เช่น เข้าสิงพระภิกษุบ้าง เข้าสิงพราหมณ์ให้มาด่าทอพระภิกษุบ้าง๓.การแสดงเจตนาดี โอปปาติกะบางประเภท ต้องการสอนมนุษย์ แต่ไม่รู้จะสอนด้วยวิธีใด จึงใช้วิธีเข้าสิงแล้วสอน เช่น ยักษ์สิงสามเณรสานุ แล้วสอนว่ายักษ์จะไม่ทำร้ายมนุษย์ที่รักษาศีลอุโบสถหรือการดล เช่น ยักษ์ดลใจอนาถบิณฑิกเศรษฐีให้ไปหาพระพุทธเจ้า เป็นต้น
