วิจัยอารยธรรมศึกษา

- สนับสนุนการศึกษาค้นคว้าและวิจัยในระดับต่าง ๆ เพื่อตอบสนองความต้องการในการ

- พัฒนาชุมชน ภูมิภาค ระดับชาติ และนานาชาติศึกษา สืบค้น รวบรวม และวิจัยที่เกี่ยวข้องกับอารยธรรมที่เป็นพื้นฐานต่อการเข้าใจสถานการณ์ วิถีชีวิตของชาติพันธุ์วรรณาในเขตลุ่มน้ำโขง-สาละวิน

บริการวิชาการสู่ชุมชน

- สนับสนุนให้บุคลากรดำเนินกิจกรรมเพื่อให้บริการ พัฒนาและสร้างสรรค์ชุมชน ทั้งในระดับท้องถิ่นและระดับสากลสู่ชุมชน

- สนับสนุนให้บุคลากรได้ออกปฏิบัติงาน ให้คำปรึกษาและแนะนำความรู้ทางด้านอารยธรรมในลุ่มน้ำโขง-สาละวินแก่ชุมชน ทั้งในและนอกสถานที่ ตลอดจนเข้าร่วมบริการวิชาการทั้งภายในและภายนอกหน่วยงาน

- สนับสนุนให้บุคลากรดำเนินงานด้านอารยธรรมในพื้นที่ลุ่มน้ำโขง-สาละวินที่เชื่อมโยงกับองค์กรของภาครัฐและเอกชน

- ส่งเสริมให้เกิดเครือข่ายความร่วมมือระหว่างหน่วยงานภายนอกและภายในในการพัฒนาสังคมแห่งการเรียนรู้

ด้านพิพิธภัณฑ์

- หอศิลป์มหาวิทยาลัยนเรศวรจัดแสดงผลงานศิลปกรรมของศิลปินรุ่นเยาว์ ศิลปินแห่งชาติ ศิลปินระดับชาติ ศิลปินระดับนานาชาติ เพื่อเป็นแหล่งแลกเปลี่ยนเรียนรู้ พัฒนา และสืบสานงานศิลปกรรมแขนงต่าง ๆ

- พิพิธภัณฑ์ผ้า แหล่งสารสนเทศทางวิชาการด้านผ้าไทย ประกอบด้วยห้องพิพิธภัณฑ์ผ้าไทครั่ง ห้องพิพิธภัณฑ์ผ้าจิตรลดา ห้องนิทรรศการหมุนเวียน และมุมบริการข้อมูลสารสนเทศ

- สนับสนุนให้มีการพัฒนาระบบฐานข้อมูลและนวัตกรรมสารสนเทศทางด้านพิพิธภัณฑ์ และนำมาประยุกต์ใช้ให้เกิดประโยชน์สูงสุดต่อชุมชน

- สนับสนุนให้มีการเผยแพร่ผลงานทางวิชาการทางด้านอารยธรรมวิถีชีวิตลุ่มน้ำโขง-สาละวินสู่สาธารณชน
