9 หลุมแรก เริ่มก่อสร้าง เมื่อ พ.ศ. 2462 เปิดให้บริการ เมื่อวันที่ 26 ตุลาคม พ.ศ.2465 ในรัชสมัย พระบาทสมเด็จพระมงกุฎเกล้าเจ้าอยู่หัว รัชกาลที่ 6 พระองค์เสด็จทรงกอล์ฟ เป็นปฐมฤกษ์ เมื่อวันที่ 28 มิถุนายน พ.ศ. 2467

9 หลุม หลัง สร้างเสร็จปลายปี พ.ศ. 2471 พระบาทสมเด็จพระปกเกล้าเจ้าอยู่หัวรัชกาลที่ 7 ทรงเป็นองค์ประธานพิธีเปิด พระเจ้าบรมวงศ์เธอ กรมพระกำแพงเพชร อัครโยธิน ทรงดำริโครงการ และบัญชาการสร้าง ในพระปรมาภิไธยพระบาทสมเด็จพระมงกุฎเกล้าเจ้าอยู่หัวรัชกาลที่ 6 ออกแบบก่อสร้างโดยมิสเตอร์ เอ.โอ.โรบิน นายช่างบำรุงทางรถไฟ แขวงเพชรบุรี
