กรมโรงงานอุตสาหกรรมลงพื้นที่ตรวจสอบโรงงานฯ กรณีร้องเรียนมลพิษทางอากาศ จังหวัดอ่างทอง
เมื่อวันที่ 4 สิงหาคม 2557 นายศักดา พันธ์กล้า รองอธิบดีกรมโรงงานอุตสาหกรรม พร้อมด้วย นายปัญญา งานเลิศ นาย นลิน ตั้งประเสริฐ รองผู้ว่าราชการจังหวัดอ่างทอง ร่วมตรวจสอบโรงงานบริษัท ไทยคาร์บอนแบล็ค จำกัด (มหาชน) ซึ่งตั้งอยู่เลขที่ 44 ม.1 ต.โพสะ อ.เมือง จ.อ่างทอง ทั้งนี้มีการประชุมหารือ เพื่อหาแนวทางการแก้ไขปัญหากรณีร้องเรียนมลพิษทางอากาศ เรื่องฝุ่นละออง และส่งกลิ่นเหม็น สร้างความเดือดร้อนให้กับประชาชนในเขตพื้นที่ดังกล่าว ซึ่งการหารือนี้ มีทั้งหน่วยงานภาครัฐและเอกชนเข้าร่วม ประกอบด้วย นายไสว โลจนะศุภฤกษ์ ผู้อำนวยการสำนักโรงงานอุตสาหกรรมรายสาขา 3 เจ้าหน้าที่กรมโรงงานอุตสาหกรรม ผู้แทนอุตสาหกรรมจังหวัดอ่างทอง รอ.พงษ์สัณห์ ดำนิล ผบ.ร้อย กองกำลังรักษาความสงบจังหวัดอ่างทอง ผู้แทนสำนักพัฒนาสังคมและความมั่นคงของมนุษย์จังหวัดอ่างทอง ผู้แทนสำนักทรัพยากรธรรมชาติและสิ่งแวดล้อมจังหวัดอ่างทอง นาย ซันจีฟ สูท ประธานและกรรมการบริหารบริษัทไทยคาร์บอนแบล็ค จำกัด (มหาชน) ณ ห้องประชุมบริษัทไทยคาร์บอนแบล็คฯ
จากนั้น ทางคณะฯ ได้ลงพื้นที่ตรวจสอบบริเวณภายในโรงงาน และหาสาเหตุของปัญหากรณีการร้องเรียนดังกล่าว และให้ดำเนินการปรับปรุงให้แล้วเสร็จ ด้วยความจริงใจ จริงจัง มุ่งมั่น และแก้ไขปัญหาร่วมกันอย่างเร่งด่วน โดยทางกรมโรงงานฯ มุ่งหวังให้โรงงานอุตสาหกรรม และชุมชน สามารถอยู่ร่วมกันอย่างยั่งยืนและสงบสุข
