ปราสาทตาเมือนธม ตั้งอยู่ที่บ้านหนองคันนา ตำบลตาเมียง อำเภอพนมดงรัก จังหวัดสุรินทร์

ปราสาทตาเมือนธม เป็นปราสาทขนาดใหญ่ที่สุด ในกลุ่มปราสาทตาเมือน (ธมแปลว่าใหญ่) ตั้งอยู่บนแนวภูเขาบรรทัด ซึ่งเป็นพรมแดนระหว่างประเทศไทยและประเทศกัมพูชาประชาธิปไตย

ปราสาทตาเมือนธมประกอบด้วยปรางค์ 3 องค์ โดยมีปรางค์ประธานซึ่งมีขนาดใหญ่ที่สุดตั้งอยู่ตรงกลาง ส่วนปรางค์อีกสององค์อยู่ถัดไปด้านหลังทางด้านขวามือและด้านซ้ายของปรางค์ประธาน ปรางค์ทั้ง 3 องค์สร้างด้วยหินทราย หันหน้าไปทางทิศใต้ ที่ปรางค์ประธานมีลวดลายจำหลักที่งดงาม แม้ว่าจะถูกลักลอบทำลายและทรุดโทรมไปตามกาลเวลาก็ตาม

ทางด้านทิศตะวันออกและทิศตะวันตก มีวิหาร 2 หลัง สร้างด้วยศิลาแลงอาคารทั้งหมดนี้มีระเบียงคดซึ่งสร้างด้วยหินทรายล้อมรอบ มีโคปุระทั้ง 4 ด้าน โคปุระด้านใต้มีขนาดใหญ่ที่สุด และมีบันไดทางขึ้นจากเชิงเขาด้านนั้น นอกระเบียงคดทางด้านทิศเหนือมีสระน้ำ และที่ลานริมระเบียงคดทางมุขทิศตะวันออกเฉียงใต้มีศิลาจารึกภาษาขอม กล่าวถึงชื่อ พระกัลปกฤษณะ จึงสันนิษฐานได้ว่าโบราณสถานแห่งนี้สร้างขึ้นเนื่องในศาสนาพราหมณ์ จากลักษณะทางสถาปัตยกรรมและลวดลายจำหลักต่างๆ ทำให้ทราบได้ว่า โบราณสถานแห่งนี้คงจะสร้างขึ้นในราวพุทธศตวรรษที่ 16 ซึ่งเก่าแก่กว่าโบราณสถานอีก 2 แห่ง ในกลุ่มปราสาทตาเมือน

กรมศิลปากร ได้ขึ้นทะเบียนโบราณสถานทั้ง 3 แห่งของกลุ่มปราสาทตาเมือน โดยประกาศในราชกิจจานุเบกษา เล่ม 52 ตอนที่ 75 ลงวันที่ 8 มีนาคม พ.ศ. 2478

โบราณสถานกลุ่มนี้แม้จะอยู่ใกล้ชายแดนไทย-กัมพูชา แต่กรมศิลปากรได้ทำการดูแลรักษา ทั้งนี้โดยอาศัยความช่วยเหลือจากหน่วยงานทหารที่ให้ความช่วยเหลือและให้ความร่วมมืออย่างดียิ่ง จนโบราณสถานเหล่านี้มีความปลอดภัยและมีสภาพร่มรื่นเป็นแหล่งที่น่าเที่ยวแห่งหนึ่ง
