การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อวิเคราะห์ผลของการใช้เวลาในการปฏิบัติภาระงานสอนที่มีต่อประสิทธิภาพการสอนของครูในสังกัดสำนักงานคณะกรรมการการศึกษาขั้นพื้นฐาน โดยใช้แบบสอบถาม ในการเก็บข้อมูล จากการศึกษาพบว่า ผลของการใช้เวลาในการปฏิบัติภาระงานสอนที่ส่งผลต่อประสิทธิภาพการสอนของครูคือ การใช้เวลาปฏิบัติภาระงานที่เกี่ยวเนื่องกับการจัดการเรียนการสอน และการใช้เวลาปฏิบัติงานพัฒนาคุณภาพการศึกษาของสถานศึกษา โดยเมื่อครูใช้เวลาปฏิบัติภาระงานที่เกี่ยวเนื่องกับ การจัดการเรียนการสอนเพิ่มขึ้น จะส่งผลให้ประสิทธิภาพการสอนของครูโดยรวม และประสิทธิภาพการสอนของครูด้านการแสดงความใส่ใจในงานสอน ด้านการทำให้กระบวนการเรียนรู้ของนักเรียนมีประสิทธิภาพ และด้านการส่งเสริมให้นักเรียนประสบความสำเร็จเพิ่มมากขึ้น ในทางตรงกันข้าม เมื่อครูใช้เวลาปฏิบัติงานพัฒนาคุณภาพการศึกษาของสถานศึกษาเพิ่มขึ้น จะส่งผลให้ประสิทธิภาพการสอนของครูโดยรวม และ ประสิทธิภาพการสอนด้านต่างๆ ลดลง
