We visited F&P this morning to get a better understanding of the processes and possible timescales, while we were there Pongsathorn instructed us that we need to also check item 7 & 8, I told him that currently we have only been authorised to check item 1,2,3 & 9 so he may email you directly regarding this issue.

Our rate for supplying labour to unpack stock, check items 1,2,3,7,8,9 and repack stock is 3000 THB + 7% VAT per pallet(31 pallets in stock). With us supplying four staff we think the rework process should take around 8-9 days to complete, this is based on us sorting the stock into ‘Good’ and ‘No good’, if you require us to add a label with the fault on each unit it will take longer and we may need to adjust the rate.

We have multi-meters left over from the previous rework, but would need to purchase the following items…

Hiring of 4 x rework desks/seats
4 x Inspection lamps (to check item 1)
4 x long nose pliers (to remove coloured cap in item 1)
1 x 2 ltr JIF cream (Ponsathorn suggested we use this product to remove the pen marks in item 8 as it doesn’t affect the plastic)
4 x pack of cloths (to remove pen marks in item 8)
1 x box latex gloves
1 x box brown tape (to reseal boxes)

I am waiting for final costs on these products, but I don’t expect the total to be over 5000 THB + VAT

If you are happy to proceed we can start early next week. Pongsathorn has advised he will meet us at the warehouse on the first day to check our processes are correct.
