โครงการนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์ในการออกแบบระบบนับคนเข้าออกในห้องสมุดมหาวิทยาลัยนราธิวาสราชนครินทร์ โดยการนำเอาเทคโนโลยีมาประยุกต์ใช้งาน เช่น เครื่องอ่านบาร์โค้ด กลอนแม่เหล็กไฟฟ้า และคอมพิวเตอร์ เป็นต้น จากนั้นทำการออกแบบซอฟต์แวร์ระบบนับคนเข้าออกในห้องสมุดมหาวิทยาลัยนราธิวาสราชนครินทร์โดยใช้โปรแกรม Visaul Basic 2008 และใช้โปรแกรม Microsoft Access 2010 มาทำเป็นฐานข้อมูลสำหรับเก็บข้อมูลจากการลงทะเบียนและการล็อกอินของบุคลากร ซึ่งระบบนับคนเข้าออกในห้องสมุดมหาวิทยาลัยนราธิวาสราชนครินทร์ประกอบด้วย ชุดอ่านบาร์โค้ด เพื่อสั่งการให้ประตูเปิดและปิดพร้อมนับจำนวนการล็อกอินของบุคลากร และเก็บข้อมูลสถิติการเข้าออกของบุคลากรแต่ละคนได้ เพื่อให้สามารถดูข้อมูลย้อนหลังได้ จากนั้นทำการทดสอบข้อมูลที่ลงทะเบียนและการล็อกอินของระบบนับคนเข้าออกในห้องสมุดมหาวิทยาลัยนราธิวาสราชนครินทร์ ผลการทดสอบจากการลงทะเบียน และการล็อกอิน ปรากฏว่าระบบทำงานปกติไม่ขัดข้อง ส่วนผลการทดสอบข้อมูลข้อมูลที่ลงทะเบียนและการล็อกอินของบุคลากรปรากฏว่าข้อมูลใช้งานได้อย่างเป็นที่น่าพอใจ
