(1) การขนส่งสินค้าภายในประเทศ
สถิติการขนส่งจากกระทรวงคมนาคมในช่วงปี พ.ศ. 2552-2556 พบว่า สัดส่วนการขนส่งทางถนนมากที่สุดประมาณร้อยละ 80 ของการขนส่งสินค้าภายในประเทศทั้งหมด รองลงมาเป็นการขนส่งทางน้ำภายในประเทศประมาณร้อยละ 9 ทางชายฝั่งทะเลประมาณร้อยละ 8และทางรถไฟร้อยละ 2 ตามลำดับ ดังตารางที่ 3.2.1.2-6 และรูปที่ 3.2.1.2-18 สำหรับอัตราการขยายตัวเฉลี่ยต่อปี จากปี พ.ศ. 2552-2556 พบว่าการขนส่งสินค้าทางชายฝั่งมีอัตราการขนส่งเพิ่มขึ้นมากที่สุด รองลงมาการขนส่งทางน้ำภายในประเทศ การขนส่งทางอากาศและการขนส่งทางรถไฟ ตามลำดับ
