จากการศึกษาวิจัยเรื่อง การติดตามและประเมินแผนการดำเนินงาน ของผู้นำเด็กและเยาวชนเทศบาลบ้านดู่ อ.เมือง จ.เชียงราย ผู้วิจัยขอเสนอแนะความคิดเห็นเพื่อเป็นประโยชน์ในการทำวิจัยครั้งต่อไป ดังนี้
1. ควรทำการศึกษาปัจจัยทางจิตวิทยาอื่นๆ ที่ส่งผลต่อ ศักยภาพผู้นำเด็กและเยาวชนชุมชนเทศบาลบ้านดู่ เช่น การเป็นสมาชิกที่ดีของสังคม ความรับผิดชอบต่อสังคม เป็นต้น
2. ควรมีการคัดเลือกเด็กและเยาวชน ที่มีภาวะความเป็นผู้นำธรรมชาติที่จะเกิดขึ้น มีแววเป็นผู้นำ และกล้าแสดงออก 4-5 คน จากรายชื่อกรรมการสภาเด็กและเยาวชนให้ได้ก่อน แล้วนำผู้นำเหล่านี้มาขัดเกลา พัฒนาศักยภาพ บุคลิกภาพ ทักษะสำคัญอย่างเข้มข้น ซึ่งผู้นำเหล่านี้จะเป็นส่วนสำคัญในการชักจูงน้องรุ่นต่อๆไป และเป็นแบบอย่างให้กับน้องรุ่นหลังด้วย
3. ควรมีการเชื่อมโยง สร้างเครือข่ายกับทางโรงเรียน สถานศึกษา สถาบันทางศาสนา เพื่อให้เกิดความตะหนักในเรื่องของการพัฒนาเด็กและเยาวชน และเพื่อให้เกิดความร่วมมือในการพัฒนาต่อไป
