โครงงานนี้เป็นโครงงานที่ประยุกต์นำเอา Pulse Sensor มาประยุกต์ใช้ร่วมกับอุปกรณ์สื่อสารแบบไร้สายเพื่อใช้ในทางการแพทย์ โดยสามารถนำเครื่องตรวจวัดสุขภาพแบบไร้สายนี้ไปใช้กับกลุ่มผู้ใช้ได้อย่างหลากหลายไม่ว่าจะเป็นผู้ป่วยหรือผู้คนที่มีร่างกายปกติที่ต้องการทราบอัตราการเต้นของหัวใจของตนเอง เครื่องตรวจวัดสุขภาพแบบไร้สายนั้นจะทำการตรวจวัดอัตราการเต้นของหัวใจของผู้ใช้โดยใช้ Pulse Sensor เป็นตัวอ่านค่าพัลส์การเปลี่ยนแปลงการเต้นของหัวใจ ค่าพัลส์ที่อ่านได้นั้นจะถูกส่งไปยังไมโครคอนโทรลเลอร์ Arduino Pro Mini 328 - 5V/16MHz เพื่อมาประมวลผลหาค่าอัตราการเต้นของหัวใจกี่ครั้งต่อนาทีแล้ว จากนั้นไมโครคอนโทรลเลอร์จะส่งค่าอัตราการเต้นของหัวใจไปยัง RN-XV WiFly Module โดยที่ RN-XV WiFly Module ได้ทำการเชื่อมต่อกับ Wireless Access Point จึงสามารถส่งข้อมูลอัตราการเต้นของหัวใจผ่านระบบเน็ตเวิร์คไปยัง Server ได้ โดยการส่งข้อมูลแบบ TCP/IP เมื่อ Server ได้รับข้อมูลอัตราการเต้นของหัวใจก็จะนำค่าที่ได้ไปเก็บในฐานข้อมูลแล้วนำค่าอัตราการเต้นของหัวใจมาแสดงผลบนหน้าจอผ่านทาง User Interface
