บทคัดย่อ
งานวิจัยนี้เป็นการศึกษาความต้องการในการใช้ภาษาอังกฤษเป็นภาษาที่สามของนักศึกษามุสลิมจุดมุ่งหมายของงานวิจัยนี้คือ การสำรวจความต้องการ ทัศนคติ และปัญหาในการเรียนภาษาอังกฤษเป็นภาษาที่ 3 ของนักศึกษา ซึ่งสอบถามจากนักศึกษามุสลิมชั้นปีที่ 3 จำนวน 55 คน งานวิจัยนี้เก็บข้อมูลโดยใช้แบบสอบถาม การวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลประกอบด้วย วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลโดยใช้ค่าร้อยละ วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลในรูปของค่าเฉลี่ยและค่าเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน
โดยจำแนกตามเพศ พบว่าเพศหญิงมากที่สุด คิดเป็นร้อยละ 36.36 / จำแนกตามอายุ พบว่า อายุระหว่าง 22-23 มากที่สุด คิดเป็นร้อยละ 58.18 / จำแนกตามภาษาแม่ พบว่า ภาษามลายูมากที่สุด คิดเป็นร้อยละ 81.82 / จำแนกตามภาษาที่สอง พบว่า ภาษาไทยมากที่สุด คิดเป็นร้อยละ 70.91 / จำแนกตามความต้องการในการเรียนทักษะต่างๆในภาษาอังกฤษ พบว่า การพูดมากที่สุด คิดเป็นร้อยละ 4.18 / จำแนกตามทัศนคติของนักศึกษาต่อการเรียนภาษาอังกฤษ พบว่า ภาษาอังกฤษไม่ได้ยากเกินไปสำหรับฉันมากที่สุด คิดเป็นร้อยละ 4.36 และจำแนกตามปัญหาในการเรียนภาษาอังกฤษ พบว่า ไม่สามารถเขียนประโยคภาษาอังกฤษได้ มากที่สุด คิดเป็นร้อยละ 4.25
ผลการวิจัยแสดงให้เห็นว่านักศึกษามีความต้องการที่จะพัฒนาทักษะทางภาษาอังกฤษให้มากขึ้น โดยเฉพาะทักษะการพูด นักศึกษามีทัศนคติที่ดีต่อการเรียนภาษาอังกฤษเป็นภาษาที่ 3 และนักศึกษาก็ยังมีปัญหาในด้านต่างๆในการเรียน โดยเฉพาะเรื่องการเขียน นักศึกษาไม่สามารถเขียนประโยคเป็นภาษาอังกฤษได้ นอกจากนี้นักศึกษามีต้องการในการเรียนภาษาอังกฤษจากสื่อการสอนที่หลากหลายในชั้นเรียน เพื่อให้การเรียนการสอนมีความน่าสนใจ สนุก และประสบผลสำเร็จมากขึ้น
