การวิจัยครั้งนี้เป็นการวิจัยเชิงทดลอง มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อ (1) ประเมินระดับกระบวนการคิดตามหลักธรรมโยนิโสมนสิการ ของครูผู้สอนในสถานศึกษาสังกัดสำนักงานคณะกรรมการการอาชีวศึกษาและ (2) เปรียบเทียบการพัฒนากระบวนการคิดตามหลักธรรมโยนิโสมนสิการของครูผู้สอนในสถานศึกษา สังกัดสำนักงานคณะกรรมการการอาชีวศึกษา โดยวิธีการปฏิบัติวิปัสสนากรรมฐานตามแนวสติปัฏฐาน 4 ซึ่งใช้ระยะเวลาในการปฏิบัติ 72 ชั่วโมง กลุ่มตัวอย่างในการทดลอง คือ ครูผู้สอนในสถานศึกษา สังกัดสำนักงานคณะกรรมการการอาชีวศึกษาทั่วประเทศที่สมัครเข้ามา สุ่มเป็นกลุ่มทดลอง จำนวน 30 คน กลุ่มควบคุม จำนวน 30 คน เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัยมี 3 ฉบับ ได้แก่ 1) แบบประเมินการปฏิบัติวิปัสสนากรรมฐานตามแนวสติปัฏฐาน 4 2) แบบสอบอารมณ์ (Emotion Test) 3) แบบทดสอบกระบวนการคิดตามหลักธรรมโยนิโสมนสิการ การวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลเชิงเนื้อหาใช้วิธีการวิเคราะห์เนื้อหา ส่วนการวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลเชิงปริมาณใช้สถิติเชิงบรรยาย ได้แก่ ความถี่ ร้อยค่า ค่าเฉลี่ย ส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน และสถิติเชิงอนุมานใช้ t-test ผลการวิจัยพบว่า (1) ครูผู้สอนในสถานศึกษา สังกัดสำนักงานคณะกรรมการการอาชีวศึกษา โดยวิธีการปฏิบัติวิปัสสนากรรมฐานตามแนวสติปัฏฐาน 4 ทั้งกลุ่มทดลองและกลุ่มควบคุม มีกระบวนการคิดตามหลักธรรมโยนิโสมนสิการอยู่ในระดับที่สูงขึ้น โดยกระบวนการคิดหลังการปฏิบัติวิปัสสนากรรมฐานตามแนวสติปัฏฐาน 4 มีระดับสูงกว่าก่อนการปฏิบัติอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ 0.5 และ (2) ผลการเปรียบเทียบกระบวนการคิดตามหลักธรรมโยนิโสมนสิการ ของครูผู้สอนระหว่างกลุ่มทดลองและกลุ่มควบคุม ทั้งก่อนและหลังการปฏิบัติวิปัสสนากรรมฐานตามแนวสติปัฏฐาน 4 พบว่า กลุ่มทดลองและกลุ่มควบคุมมีกระบวนการคิดตามหลักธรรมโยนิโสมนสิการ ไม่แตกต่างกัน สำหรับผลการวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลเชิงคุณภาพ พบว่า ครูผู้สอนที่ได้มีการปฏิบัติอย่างต่อเนื่องสม่ำเสมอ จะเกิดปัญญา มีความอดทนต่อการทำหน้าที่การงาน จนประสบกับความสำเร็จในเวลาอันรวดเร็ว เช่น การเลื่อนวิทยฐานะสูงขึ้น การย้ายสถานที่ทำงาน รวมถึงส่งผลไปยังหลานสาวที่สอบเข้าทำงานได้ทันทีหลังจากจบการศึกษา
