Research on gender differences in the varied GIVEN Psychopathy Presentation,
and the dearth of Theory-driven MBCA subtyping Studies
comparing Men and Women, the current Study investigated gender differences
in Psychopathic subtypes using MBCA in a mixed-gender undergraduate
sample. To Perform a more targeted Analysis, MBCA was
performed only on Higher PPI scoring participants ( "Higher Psychopathy"),
and the clusters were compared to all Other participants ( "Nonpsychopathic").
As hypothesized, Two clusters emerged in Higher Psychopathy
Men and Women. that were vary markedly different than the
non-Psychopathic groups. Primary groups endorsed the High traits F1,
F2 and moderate to low traits, behavioral inhibition, Anxiety, NA, Hostility,
Anger, and BPD features. Secondary groups had moderate the F1
traits, and F2 High traits, behavioral Activation, Anxiety, NA, Aggression,
and BPD features. These Patterns Support the existence of Karpman's
(1,941th) and Lykken (in 1995) Psychopathy subtypes MALE and FEMALE in
undergraduates.
