การวิจัยครั้งนี้เป็นการวิจัยการสำรวจเพื่อศึกษาความนิยมในการเล่นฟุตซอลของนักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่6 ในโรงเรียนเชียงยืนพิทยาคม ปีการศึกษา 2558 กลุ่มเป้าหมายเป็นนักเรียนชั้น ม.6จำนวน 70 คน
เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในงานวิจัยประกอบด้วยแบบสอบถามเกี่ยวกับความนิยมในการเล่นฟุตซอลของนักเรียนชั้น ม.6และแบบสอบถามโครงการสำรวจความคิดเห็นของวัยรุ่นต่อการเล่นฟุตซอล ระยะเวลาในการศึกษาตั้งแต่วันที่ 30 พฤษภาคม 2558 ถึง 30 สิงหาคม 2558 ผ่านการตรวจสอบแบบสอบถามงานวิจัยอ้างอิงจากนายวิทยุทธ วิลามาศ
สถิติที่ใช้สถิติที่เป็นค่าร้อยละ ค่าความถี่ ค่าเฉลี่ย ค่าความเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน เพื่อการวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลพื้นฐานและสำหรับการหาค่าความสัมพันธ์ของตัวแปรอิสระกับตัวแปรตาม สำหรับข้อมูลของตัวแปรอิสระที่อยู่ในระดับ หาค่าโดย ไค-สแควร์
