4 ม.ค. 2520 ณ วัดป่าอุดมสมพร ซึ่งถือเป็นอนุสรณ์สถานที่สำคัญของท่าน สิริรวมอายุได้ 78 ปี 58 พรรษา พระบาทสมเด็จพระเจ้าอยู่หัว และสมเด็จพระบรมราชินีนาถ เสด็จฯ ไปทรงสรงน้ำศพ พระราชทานหีบทองประกอบศพ จนถึงวันที่ 21 มกราคม พ.ศ. 2521 ได้เสด็จพระราชทานเพลิงศพเป็นการส่วนพระองค์ ในบริเวณที่พระราชทานเพลิงศพของพระอาจารย์ฝั้นได้มีการสร้างเจดีย์พิพิธภัณฑ์พระอาจารย์ฝั้น อาจาโร สูง 27.9 เมตร ลักษณะเป็นเจดีย์ปลายแหลม ฐานกลม ขึ้นรูปด้วยกลีบบัวหุ้มฐานสามชั้น แต่ละกลีบบัวตกแต่งด้วยกระเบื้องเป็นรูปพระอาจารย์ต่างๆ ภายในเจดีย์มีรูปปั้นพระอาจารย์ฝั้นถือไม้เท้าขนาดเท่าองค์จริง มีตู้กระจกบรรจุเครื่องอัฐบริขารของท่าน
