โดยผู้รับจ้างตกลงที่จะออกใบสำคัญหรือใบเสร็จรับเงินให้ไว้แก่กันเพื่อเป็นหลักฐานในการส่งมอบงาน และ รับเงินทุกครั้งไปหากผู้ว่าจ้างผิดนัดชำระเงินค่าจ้างตามงวดงาน ภายในกำหนดเวลาดังกล่าวในข้อนี้นั้น ผู้รับจ้างมีสิทธิหยุดงานชั่วคราวไปจนกว่าผู้ว่าจ้างจะชำระเงินดังกล่าว และให้ถือว่ากำหนดเวลาก่อสร้างแล้วเสร็จตามข้อ 2. ของสัญญานี้ จำต้องขยายออกไปตามเวลาที่หยุดงาน โดยให้ผู้รับจ้างแจ้งถึงการใช้สิทธิหยุดงาน และระยะเวลาที่ต้องขยายออกไปให้แก่ผู้ว่าจ้างทราบเป็นลายลักษณ์อักษรภายในกำหนด 7 วัน นับแต่วันที่ผู้ว่าจ้างได้ชำระเงินค่าจ้างตามงวดงานนั้น หากผู้รับจ้างไม่แจ้ง ให้ถือว่าผู้รับจ้างสละสิทธิการขยายระยะเวลาตามข้อนี้
