ประวัติความเป็นมา
วัดพระธาตุผาแก้ว ก่อตั้งขึ้นเมื่อปี พ.ศ. 2547 ในนาม "พุทธธรรมสถานผาซ่อนแก้ว" ได้รับการอนุมัติจัดตั้งเป็นวัดในมงคลนามว่า"วัดพระธาตุผาแก้ว"เมืีอวันที่ 1 ก.ค. 2553 จากคณะกรรมการมหาเถรสมาคม โดยมีพระครูสังฆรักษ์ ปารมี สุรยุทโธ เป็นเจ้าอาวาส

วัดพระธาตุผาแก้ว ตั้งอยู่ในชัยภูมิธรรม ณ. บริเวณเนินเขาในหมู่บ้านทางแดง ต.แคมป์สน อ.เขาค้อ จ.เพชรบูรณ์ โดย คุณภาวิณี และ คุณอุไร โชติกูล ได้มีจิตศรัทธาซื้อที่ดินถวายเริ่มแรกจำนวน 25 ไร่ เพื่อก่อสร้างเป็นสถานที่ปฏิบัติธรรมแก่พระสงฆ์ และพุทธศาสนิกชนทั่วไป ปัจจุบันมีผู้ร่วมถวายปัจจัยซื้อที่ดินเพิ่มรวมทั้งสิ้นมีที่ดินรวม 91 ไร่

พระครูสังฆรักษ์ปารมี สุรยุทโธ และ พระครูใบฎีกาอำนาจ โอภาโส สองครูบาอาจารย์คู่บุญคู่บารมี ร่วมกับคณะศิษยานุศิษย์และเหล่าผู้มีจิตศรัทธาจากทั่วประเทศได้ร่วมกันจัดสร้างเสนาสนะ กุฏิที่พักสงฆ์ อาคารปฎิบัติและบรรยายธรรม รวมถึงอาคารที่พักของผู้มาภาวนาเพื่อรองรับคณะผู้มีจิตศรัทธาจากทุกแห่งหนทีหลั่งไหลกันเข้ามาอบรมภาวนาในแนวสติปัฎฐานสี่ แห่งองค์พระบรมศาสดาสัมมาสัมพุทธเจ้ากันอย่างต่อเนื่อง เป็นที่ปิติยินดียิ่งของครูบาอาจารย์กับเหล่าบรรดาศิษยานุศิษย์ที่ได้ร่วมแรงร่วมใจ..สละทั้งแรงกายและแรงทรัพย์ในการจัดสร้าง และสมกับคุณค่าแห่งความเสียสละ ความอุตสาหะ วิริยะ และมุ่งมั่นตั้งใจที่ได้ตั้งไว้โดยชอบแล้ว...
