การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์ เพื่อศึกษาความพึงพอใจของผู้ให้บริการร้านอาหาร และเครื่องดื่มย่านนิมมานเหมินทร์ที่มีต่อนักท่องเที่ยวชาวจีน และเพื่อเสนอแนะแนวทางในการพัฒนา และแก้ไขปัญหา ของผู้ให้บริการร้านอาหาร และเครื่องดื่มย่านนิมมานเหมินทร์ กลุ่มตัวอย่างที่ใช้ในการวิจัยครั้งนี้ คือ ผู้ให้บริการร้านอาหาร และเครื่องดื่มย่านนิมมานเหมินทร์ จังหวัดเชียงใหม่ ซึ่งพนักงานแต่ละคนจะมีความพึงพอใจที่แตกต่างกัน เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัยครั้งนี้ คือ แบบสำรวจความพึงพอใจของผู้ให้บริการร้านอาหาร และเครื่องดื่มย่านนิมมานเหมินทร์ ซึ่งประกอบไปด้วย 3 ตอน คือ ตอนที่ 1 ข้อมูลทั่วไปของผู้ตอบแบบสอบถาม ตอนที่ 2 ความพึงพอใจของผู้ให้บริการที่มีต่อนักท่องเที่ยวชาวจีน โดยจะสอบถามทางด้านการสื่อสาร ด้านการปฏิบัติตามกฎระเบียบของร้าน และด้านวัฒนธรรมของนักท่องเที่ยวชาวจีน ตอนที่ 3 ปัญหา / ข้อเสนอแนะ ผลจากการวิจัยพบว่าผู้ให้บริการร้านอาหาร และเครื่องดื่มย่านนิมมานเหมินทร์ส่วนใหญ่มีความพึงพอใจต่อนักท่องเที่ยวชาวจีนอยู่ในระดับปานกลาง ส่วนข้อเสนอแนะความคิดเห็นของผู้ให้บริการร้านอาหาร และเครื่องดื่มย่านนิมมานเหมินทร์ พบว่าผู้ให้บริการร้านอาหารและเครื่องดื่มย่านนิมมานเหมินทร์ได้ให้ข้อเสนอแนะว่า ไม่สามารถปรับเปลี่ยนนิสัยของนักท่องเที่ยวชาวจีนได้แต่ทางร้านควรระบุและชี้แจงกฎเกณฑ์ของร้านไว้อย่างชัดเจนเพื่อให้นักท่องเที่ยวชาวจีนปฏิบัติตามกฎระเรียบของร้านอย่างเคร่งครัด
