อุทยานแห่งชาติดอยสุเทพ-ปุยดอยปุย ยอ
อุทยานแห่งชาติดอยสุเทพ-ปุย
ดอยปุย ยอดเขาที่สูง 1,658 เมตร จากระดับน้ำทะเลปานกลาง เป็นส่วนหนึ่งของ อุทยานแห่งชาติดอยสุเทพ-ปุย จังหวัดเชียงใหม่ เป็นอุทยานแห่งชาติลำดับที่ 24 ของประเทศ มีลักษณะของพื้นที่เป็นภูเขาสูงสลับซับซ้อนอยู่ในแนวเทือกเขาถนนธงไชย นอกจากนี้ ยังเป็นแหล่งต้นน้ำลำธารที่สำคัญของตัวเมืองเชียงใหม่ และพื้นที่บางส่วนของอำเภอรอบ ๆ สภาพภูมิอากาศส่วนใหญ่จะหนาวเย็นและชุ่มชื้น เนื่องจากได้รับไอน้ำจากเมฆหมอกที่ปกคลุมอยู่เกือบตลอดปี อุณหภูมิเฉลี่ยต่ำสุดในพื้นที่อยู่ระหว่าง 10-12 องศาเซลเซียส
สถานที่ท่องเที่ยว ดอยปุย ได้แก่
1. ยอดดอยปุย สูง 1,658 เมตร จากระดับน้ำทะเล เป็นจุดสูงสุดของอุทยานแห่งชาติดอยสุเทพ-ปุย มีอากาศเย็นสบายตลอดทั้งปี บนยอดดอยปกคลุมด้วยป่าสนเขาผืนใหญ่ และเป็นแหล่งดูนกที่น่าสนใจแห่งหนึ่ง ดอยสุเทพและดอยปุยเป็นถิ่นอาศัยของนกมากกว่า 300 ชนิด เช่น ไก่ฟ้าหลังขาว นกกางเขนน้ำหลังดำ นกศิวะปีกสีฟ้า ฯลฯ ในช่วงฤดูหนาวยังมีนกอพยพบินย้ายถิ่นเข้ามาอาศัยอีกเป็นจำนวนมาก หลายชนิดเป็นนกหายาก โดยเฉพาะ นกเขน นกจับแมลงสีคราม นกเดินดงอกลาย นกปีกแพรสีม่วง ฯลฯ ใกล้กับยอดดอยปุยมีสถานที่สำหรับกางเต็นท์ ซึ่งสามารถรองรับนักท่องเที่ยวได้ประมาณ 250 คน ซึ่งห่างจากพระตำหนักภูพิงคราชนิเวศน์ประมาณ 7 กิโลเมตร เส้นทางค่อนข้างแคบและลาดชัน สำหรับผู้ที่ไม่ชินเส้นทาง ควรเดินทางไปถึงก่อนเวลา 17.00 น. เพื่อความสะดวกและปลอดภัย
2. พระตำหนักภูพิงคราชนิเวศน์ เป็นสถานที่ที่มีชื่อเสียงในด้านความสวยงาม และมีความสำคัญยิ่ง คือ เป็นที่ประทับแปรพระราชฐานของพระบาทสมเด็จพระเจ้าอยู่หัวภูมิพลอดุลยเดชฯ สมเด็จพระนางเจ้าสิริกิติ์ฯ พระบรมราชินีนาถ และพระบรมวงศานุวงศ์ บริเวณใกล้ดอยบวกห้า คำว่า "ดอยบวกห้า" เป็นชื่อเรียกตามคำพื้นเมือง ดอยหมายถึงภูเขา บวกหมายถึง หนองน้ำ ห้าหมายถึงต้นหว้า หมายความว่า ที่ยอดดอยแห่งนี้มีหนองน้ำอุดมไปด้วยต้นหว้า ขึ้นปกคลุมทั่วบริเวณหนองน้ำนั้น พระบาทสมเด็จพระเจ้าอยู่หัวทรงพระกรุณาโปรดเกล้าฯ ให้สร้างขึ้นในปี พ.ศ. 2504 และพระราชทานนามพระตำหนักนี้ว่า "ภูพิงคราชนิเวศน์" โดยทรงเลือกจากหนึ่งใน 2 ชื่อ ซึ่งสมเด็จพระญาณสังวร สมเด็จพระสังฆราช สกลมหาสังฆปรินายก วัดบวรนิเวศวิหาร เมื่อครั้งเป็นที่ พระศาสนโสภณ เป็นผู้คิดชื่อถวาย คือ "พิงคัมพร" กับ "ภูพิงคราชนิเวศน์" พระตำหนักแห่งนี้ ใช้เป็นที่ประทับในโอกาสที่เสด็จพระราชดำเนินแปรพระราชฐาน มาประทับแรมที่จังหวัดเชียงใหม่ เพื่อทรงงานและเยี่ยมเยียนราษฎรในเขตภาคเหนือ รวมทั้งเพื่อรับรองพระราชอาคันตุกะที่เข้ามาเจริญสัมพันธไมตรีกับไทยในโอกาสต่าง ๆ การที่ทรงเลือกสร้างที่จังหวัดเชียงใหม่ เนื่องจากมีอากาศเย็นสบาย ภูมิประเทศสวยงาม อีกทั้งเคยเป็นเมืองหลวงมาก่อน ผู้คนพลเมืองยังดำรงรักษา จารีตขนบธรรมเนียม ประเพณีอันดีงามไว้
พระตำหนักภูพิงคราชนิเวศน์ เปิดจำหน่ายบัตรเข้าชม 2 ช่วงเวลา ได้แก่ ช่วงเช้า (08.30 - 11.30 น.) และช่วงบ่าย (13.00 - 15.30 น.) ปิดพระตำหนักภูพิงคราชนิเวศน์ เวลา 16.30 น. อัตราค่าธรรมเนียมเข้าชม สำหรับชาวไทย 20 บาท ชาวต่างชาติ 50 บาท ทั้งนี้ พระตำหนักภูพิงคราชนิเวศน์อยู่ห่างจากที่ทำการอุทยานแห่งชาติประมาณ 4 กิโลเมตร และเปิดให้ประชาชนเข้าชมได้ทุกวันไม่เว้นวันหยุดราชการ
3. หมู่บ้านชาวเขาเผ่าม้ง (แม้ว) ดอยปุย บริเวณหมู่บ้านจำหน่ายของที่ระลึกจำนวนมากซึ่งมีทั้งที่ผลิตภายในหมู่บ้าน และนำมาจากที่อื่นวางขายให้แก่นักท่องเที่ยว มีพิพิธภัณฑ์ม้ง สวนดอกไม้ซึ่งมีบริการถ่ายรูปแต่งชุดชาวเขา บริเวณรอบ ๆ หมู่บ้านมีทิวทัศน์ที่สวยงาม สามารถมองเห็นดอยอินทนนท์ได้ นักท่องเที่ยวสามารถไปเยี่ยมชมได้สะดวกเพราะอยู่ใกล้ตัวเมือง โดยใช้เวลาในการเดินทางจากตัวเมืองประมาณ 1 ชั่วโมงเท่านั้น ส่วนการเดินทาง หมู่บ้านนี้ตั้งอยู่บนดอยปุย ห่างจากพระตำหนักฯ 3 กิโลเมตร เป็นทางลาดยางตลอด สามารถเข้าไปเที่ยวด้วยตนเองได้ หรือจะเช่ารถสองแถวจากดอยสุเทพขึ้นไปได้ทุกฤดูกาล ประมาณคันละ 600-900 บาท
4. น้ำตกตาดหมอก เป็นน้ำตกขนาดกลาง เกิดจากลำห้วยแม่แรม อยู่ห่างจากตัวอำเภอแม่ริม ประมาณ 5 กิโลเมตร ตามเส้นทางสายแม่ริม-สะเมิง แล้วแยกไปอีกประมาณ 9 กิโลเมตร การเดินทางไปน้ำตกตาดหมอก ต้องเดินทางโดยรถส่วนตัวเท่านั้น เนื่องจากรถบัสไม่สามารถเข้าถึง และไม่มีรถยนต์โดยสารวิ่งผ่าน
5. น้ำตกมณฑาธาร หรือน้ำตกสันป่ายาง เป็นน้ำตกที่สวยงามแห่งหนึ่งในเขตอุทยานฯ สูงกว่าระดับน้ำทะเล 730 เมตร มีทั้งหมด 9 ชั้น โดยมีน้ำตกไทรย้อย เป็นน้ำตกชั้นสูงสุด ที่ไหลมาจากห้วยคอกม้า แล้วไหลไปสมทบกับน้ำตกมณฑาธาร ผ่านผาเงิบ วังบัวบาน น้ำตกห้วยแก้ว ก่อนจะไหลลงสู่แม่น้ำปิง ที่มาของน้ำตกนั้นมาจากต้นมณฑา ซึ่งเป็นไม้ยืนต้น ดอกสีขาว ใบใหญ่ สีเขียวจัด เห็นได้ทั่วไปตามข้างทาง ลักษณะของน้ำที่ตกลงมาแยกออกเป็น 2 สายเล็ก ๆ แล้วไหลลงสู่แอ่ง ก่อนจะผ่านลานหินลงไปชั้นที่ 1 อยู่ห่างจากน้ำตกห้วยแก้วประมาณ 3 กิโลเมตร
บริเวณน้ำตกมณฑาธาร มีบ้านพักนักท่องเที่ยว จำนวน 2 หลัง พักได้หลังละ 6 คน ราคาหลังละ 1,500 บาท และมีสถานที่กางเต็นท์ ซึ่งสามารถรองรับนักท่องเที่ยวได้ประมาณ 150 คน สามารถสำรองบ้านพักได้ผ่านทางเว็บไซด์ www.dnp.go.th หรือ โทรสำรองที่พักได้ที่ 053-210244
6. น้ำตกแม่สา เป็นน้ำตกที่สวยงาม มีน้ำไหลตลอดปี มีทั้งหมด 10 ชั้น แต่ละชั้นห่างกันประมาณ 100-500 เมตร โดยเดินทางจากตัวเมืองเชียงใหม่ ไปตามถนนสายแม่ริม-สะเมิง ระยะทางประมาณ 7 กิโลเมตร น้ำตกแม่สา เป็นน้ำตกที่มีชื่อเสียงมากแห่งหนึ่งของจังหวัดเชียงใหม่ ที่ปกคลุมด้วยต้นไม้ใหญ่ทั่วบริเวณ ทำให้สภาพอากาศร่มรื่นเย็นสบายตลอดปี ทำให้ได้รับความนิยมมาก
การเดินทางไปน้ำตกแม่สา นอกจากนำรถส่วนตัวหรือรถบัสไปแล้ว ยังสามารถนั่งรถโดยสารประจำทาง สายเชียงใหม่ - สะเมิง บริเวณข้างวัดแม่ริม ซึ่งท่านจะต้องขึ้นรถสายเชียงใหม่ - แม่ริม บริเวณตลาดวโรรส หรือขนส่งช้างเผือก แล้วลงรถที่สี่แยกวัดแม่ริม เพื่อต่อรถสายเชียงใหม่ - สะเมิง เพื่อไปเที่ยวน้ำตกแม่สา แต่ไม่มีบ้านพักไว้บริการ มีแต่สถานที่กางเต็นท์
