ลมบก (Land Breeze)
หมายถึง เกิดในช่วงเวลากลางคืน ซึ่งเป็นลมที่พัดจากพื้นดินสู่ทะเล เนื่องจากในเวลากลางคืนพื้นดินคายความร้อนได้เร็วกว่าพื้นน้ำ อุณหภูมิบนพื้นดินจึงต่ำกว่า ในขณะที่พื้นน้ำจะร้อนกว่าเนื่องจากคายความร้อนได้ช้ากว่า พื้นน้ำจึงมีอุณหภูมิสูงกว่า อากาศร้อนบนพื้นน้ำจึงลอยตัวสูง และอากาศเย็นจากพื้นดินจึงพัดเข้าไปแทนที่ทำให้เกิดลมบกที่พัดจากฝั่งเข้าสู่ทะเล
