Trapezius Mascle เป็นกล้ามเนื้อขนาดใหญ่ที่มี origins และ insert กว้าง โดยเกาะจาก external occipital protuberance , nuchal ligament , spinous process ของ C7-T12 , suprasplavicle , spinous ligament ไป insert ที่ clavicle , acromion process , scapular spine เมื่อกล้ามเนื้อข้างหนึ่งทำงานจะดึงศีรษะมาด้านเดียวกัน และ หันใบหน้าไปตรงข้าม เมื่อกล้ามเนื้อทั้งสองข้างทำงานพร้อมๆกันจะ extend ศีรษะมาด้านหลัง
