ผลการศึกษา
จากการทำโครงงานนี้ กลุ่มของข้าพเจ้า ได้ศึกษาเกี่ยวกับภูมิปัญญาของการแกะสลักไม้ของบ้านหลุก ซึ่งบ้านหลุกได้รวมกลุ่มแกะสลักขึ้นจำนวน4กลุ่ม โดยรวม 3 หมู่บ้าน ได้แก่ บ้านหลุกหมู่ที6, บ้านหลุกแพะหมู่ที่11, และบ้านหลุกใต้หมู่ที่12 ซึ่งการแกะสลักบ้านหลุกได้มีการสืบทอดรุ่นต่อรุ่นมาเป็นเวลายาวนาน ชาวบ้านได้ยึดถือไม้เป็นอาชีพหลัก เกือบทุกหลังคาเรือน โดยส่วนมากจะแกะสลักป็นรูปสัตว์ต่างๆ โดยมีการแกะสลักหลายรูปแบบ ได้แก่ การแกะสลักตามลายเส้น ซึ่งต้องทำให้เส้นมีความหนักเบาเท่ากัน การแกะสลักภานนูนต่ำ ซึ่งสูงจากพื้นไม้เพียงเล็กน้อย การแกะสลักภาพนูนสูง ซึ่งจะแกะขึ้นมาเกือบสมบูรณ์เต็มตัวและการแกะสลักแบบลอยตัว ซึ่งจะแกะเป็นแบบ3มิติ ส่วนไม้ที่นำมาใช้แกะสลักได้ เช่น ไม้ฉำฉาหรือจามจุรี เถาวัลย์และไม้เนื้ออ่อน ซึ่งแกะสลักด้วยความประณีต จึงออกมาเป็นชิ้นงานที่สวยงามและคงทน

อภิปรายผล
จากการศึกษาพบว่า การแกะสลักไม้บ้านหลุกได้ถูกยกระดับเป็นหมู่บ้านท่องเที่ยว OTOP และมีศูนย์การเรียนรู้การแกะสลักไม้และวิถีชุมชนบ้านหลุก ซึ่งเป็นแหล่งที่ให้ความรู้เกี่ยวกับหัตถกรรมของบ้านหลุก มีการขยายตลาดส่งออกไม้แกะสลักไปต่างหมู่บ้านต่างจังหวัด และส่งออกไปยังต่างประเทศ ซึ่งวัตถุดิบที่ใช้ ได้แก่ ไม้จามจุรี ไม้สัก นุ่น และขนุน ผลิตภัณฑ์มีหลายชนิด หลายรูปแบบแลพหลายขนาด ซึ่งส่วนใหญ่เกิดจากการเลียนแบบสืบทอดกันมา แบ่งออกเป็น5 ประเภท ภาพลอยตัว ภาพนูน งานกลึง งานแกะสลัก และงานฉลุ
