การศึกษาไทยในอนาคต
           ประเทศไทยในอนาคต จำเป็นต้องมีการปฏิรูประบบโครงสร้าง การบริหารการเมือง การปกครอง และระบบการศึกษา เพื่อพัฒนาคนและสังคมไทยให้ยั่งยืน ถ้าหากไม่มีการปฏิรูปนโยบายและยุทธศาสตร์ทางการศึกษาให้เหมาะสมต่อการเปลี่ยนแปลงของสังคมในอนาคต เป็นไปได้ว่าสังคมไทยจะเป็นสังคมที่อ่อนแอแข่งขันไม่ได้ คนไทยมีคุณภาพต่ำ การศึกษาไทยในปัจจุบันยังไม่สามารถพัฒนาทักษะกระบวนการคิดของผู้เรียน และทักษะวุฒิทางอารมณ์ยังไม่มีคุณภาพ ด้วยสภาพเศรษฐกิจที่มุ่งแข่งขันทำให้การจัดการศึกษามุ่งพัฒนาทางวิชาการเป็นสำคัญและประเมินผลการเรียนที่ความสามารถทางวิชาการ การสอนด้านคุณธรรม จริยธรรมยังไม่มีคุณภาพ วัฒนธรรมต่างชาติจะเข้ามามีบทบาทต่อการดำรงชีวิตมากขึ้น  ทำให้คนไทยขาดความภาคภูมิใจในความเป็นคนไทย เทคโนโลยีจะเข้ามามีบทบาทในกิจวัตรประจำวันหรือใช้ในการเรียนการสอนมากขึ้น ทำให้การปฏิสัมพันธ์ระหว่างครูกับศิษย์ลดลง ส่งผลให้เกิดช่องว่างทางอารมณ์ ซึ่งก่อให้เกิดพฤติกรรมก้าวร้าวที่นับวันจะรุนแรงขึ้น

           การศึกษาของไทยในอนาคตยังคงต้องมุ่งเน้นที่คุณภาพด้านวิชาการให้ทันต่อการเปลี่ยนแปลงของเทคโนโลยีและสังคมเศรษฐกิจที่มีการแข่งขันกันสูง แต่การศึกษาจะมีคุณภาพนั้นผู้เรียนจะต้อง ”มีความรู้ คู่คุณธรรม“  เพื่อพัฒนาคนโดยใช้คุณธรรมเป็นพื้นฐานของกระบวนการเรียนรู้ โดยอาศัยร่วมมือของสถาบันครอบ ครัว ชุมชน สถาบันทางศาสนา และสถาบันการศึกษา ครูจะต้องมีบทบาทสำคัญในการปลูกฝังให้ผู้เรียนยึดคุณธรรมเป็นพื้นฐานในกระบวนการเรียนรู้และการดำรงชีวิต ควบคู่ไปกับความรู้ทางวิชาการ ให้ผู้เรียนมีคุณลักษณะอันพึงประสงค์ มีจิตสาธารณะ นำความรู้ สู่สังคม ยึดหลักปรัชญาเศรษฐกิจพอเพียงในการดำรงชีวิต การศึกษาไทยในอนาคต เยาวชนไทยจะต้องเป็นคนดี มีความรู้ คู่คุณธรรม และมีความสุข เป็นมนุษย์ที่สมบูรณ์ทั้งทางร่างกาย จิตใจ สติปัญญา ความรู้และคุณธรรมมีจริยธรรม และวัฒนธรรมในการดำรงชีวิต สามารถอยู่ร่วมกับผู้อื่นอย่างมีความสุข คิดสร้างสรรค์และรักการเรียนรู้ตลอดชีวิต  เป็นผู้ที่สามารถสร้างความรู้ใหม่ ประดิษฐ์คิดค้นสิ่งใหม่ รักการทำงาน และมีพลวัตในตนเองสูง เป็นผู้มีความสามารถทางด้านภาษาสากล เทคโนโลยีสื่ออิเล็กทรอนิกส์ มีความรู้เกี่ยวกับวัฒนธรรมนานาชาติ มีค่านิยมสากล และสามารถบูรณาการวิถีชีวิตไทยกับสังคมสากลได้อย่างมีความสุข
แต่ในปัจจุบันสถานศึกษาบางแห่งอาจจะไม่ได้รับจัดสรรคอมพิวเตอร์จากภาครัฐเลยก็มีหรืออาจจะไม่มีระบบอินเตอร์เน็ทใช้ก็คงมีอยู่หรือได้รับการติดตั้งเป็นแบบจานดาวเทียมแต่ใช้งานไม่ได้ 
ดังนั้นหากรัฐบาลจะส่งเสริมให้เด็กและเยาวชนได้เรียนรู้โลกกว้างอย่างเท่าเทียมกัน ภาครัฐต้องจัดสรรวัสดุอุปกรณ์เทคโนโลยีที่ทันสมัยให้กับสถานศึกษาอย่างจริงจังจัดสรรครูและบุคลากรทางการศึกษาที่มีความรู้ความชำนาญด้านการใช้เทคโนโลยีมาทำการจัดการเรียนการสอนให้กับเด็กและเยาวชนเหล่านั้น หรือพัฒนาครูที่มีอยู่ให้มีความรู้พร้อมที่จะเรียนรู้และสอนเด็กและเยาวชนได้อย่างมีคุณภาพในสถานการณ์ปัจจุบันสถานศึกษาทุกแห่งจำเป็นต้องใช้เทคโนโลยีในการติดต่อสื่อสาร  การเข้าถึงข้อมูลสารสนเทศ การค้นคว้าหาความรู้จากแหล่งต่าง ๆ ทั้งภายในและต่างประเทศ
