ประวัติวัดกู้

วัดกู้เป็นวัดเก่าแก่สร้างมาแต่สมัยกรุงธนบุรี เล่ากันว่าผู้สร้างคือพญาเจ่ง หัวหน้าครอบครัวมอญที่อพยพเข้ามาตั้งถิ่นฐานที่เกาะเกร็ด จังหวัดนนทบุรี ภายในวัดจึงมีศิลปแบบมอญ อาทิ จิตรกรรมฝาผนังภายในวิหาร
